No—Terrance Ferguson will not play Sunday. The Rams have ruled the tight end out for their Week 4 game at Philadelphia on October 4 because of an ankle injury.
Why is Terrance Ferguson out?
Ferguson is listed with an ankle injury. He did not practice Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, according to the Rams’ final injury report published October 2. The NFL’s Week 4 injury report also lists him as Out with an ankle injury after no practice participation.
An earlier Rams update on September 28 said head coach Sean McVay expected Ferguson to be likely out. The final report confirmed the game designation.
When could Ferguson return?
The injury reports do not give a return date or a more specific diagnosis. Being ruled out applies to this game; the reports do not establish how long he will be sidelined.
