The brand positions the Outwork for strength training and cross-training; its Outwork Edge is the more cushioned option for higher-impact workouts. Which one fits depends on whether your sessions prioritize lifting, cardio, or a mix. The available product specifications and reviews do not establish that one particular pair has been tested through every workout.
Which NOBULL shoe is meant for your workout?
NOBULL’s shoe guide, published August 15, 2025, describes the models by intended activity. Those descriptions are the manufacturer’s guidance, not an independent guarantee that a shoe will suit every person or workout.

| Model | Best fit according to NOBULL | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Outwork (formerly Trainer) | Strength training, cross-training, HIIT, and functional fitness | The brand’s original training shoe. Its current product page lists a 4 mm heel-to-toe drop and a stability-tuned EVA midsole. |
| Outwork Edge | Higher-impact workouts | NOBULL presents it as more cushioned than Outwork. Do not assume its feel or performance is identical to Outwork. |
| Drive 2 | A mix of lifting and cardio | The brand describes it as a lifting-and-cardio hybrid. |
| Allday | Training, light running, and walking | NOBULL does not position it as its dedicated running shoe. |
| Journey 2 | Running | This is the brand’s running-shoe option in the guide. |
These distinctions matter if you want one pair for both lifting and running. NOBULL’s own lineup assigns those activities to different models, and the available information does not establish that any one shoe is a universal choice. For a workout dominated by strength work, Outwork is the clearest match to the brand’s stated use case; for more impact, compare the Outwork Edge or a model intended for the specific cardio or running demands.
What the Outwork specifications tell you
The current NOBULL Outwork product page lists a 15 mm heel stack at the heel and 11 mm at the forefoot, a 4 mm heel-to-toe drop, a stability-tuned EVA midsole, a molded EVA footbed, and a rubber outsole with circular tread. The upper is 3D-printed on abrasion-resistant polyester canvas.

- COMFORT & SUPPORT: A low-profile phylon EVA midsole offers light cushioning with a minimal 4mm heel-toe drop for ground feel. The molded anatomical insole keeps your feet supported, and a perforated microsuede tongue lets them breathe.
- FOR THE TECH NERDS: Weight: 11.1oz / 315g (Men's Size 10.5); Stack Height: 15mm (heel) / 11 mm (forefoot); Heel-Toe Drop: 4mm; Suggested Use: Strength training, weightlifting, powerlifting, gym workouts; Features: Treated with a Durable Water-Repellent (DWR) coating.
The brand lists the shoe as true to size, but that is its fit guidance rather than a guarantee for every foot shape. Fit and comfort should be judged in the specific size and version you are considering, especially if width is a concern.
Listed weights are 315 g for a men’s size 10.5 and 269 g for a women’s size 8.5. Those figures apply only to the named sizes; they should not be treated as the weight of every Outwork size. NOBULL also labels the shoe’s stability “Max,” traction “High,” durability “Heavy,” and support “Medium.” These are the brand’s ratings, not standardized independent measurements or proof of performance in a particular gym.

How to decide whether it suits your training
If lifting is the priority
Outwork is the most directly aligned with NOBULL’s strength-training positioning. Its listed 4 mm drop and stability-focused construction provide useful specification context, but they do not by themselves establish how it will feel under your lifts. Consider the fit, support, and ground feel you prefer, and assess them in the actual movements you perform.
If your sessions include jumps or other higher-impact work
NOBULL describes Outwork Edge as more cushioned and intended for higher-impact workouts. That makes it a relevant model to compare when impact is a major part of your routine. The available product guidance does not quantify cushioning or show how either model performs across every class or exercise.

If you want one pair for cardio and lifting
Drive 2 is the brand’s stated lifting-and-cardio hybrid. Allday is positioned for training, light running, and walking, while Journey 2 is the running shoe. Treat those categories as a starting point: the guide does not specify how much running each model is suited to, nor establish that a training shoe replaces a dedicated running shoe for every runner.

Tom’s Guide’s August 20, 2026 cross-training roundup includes Outwork and Trainer+ and discusses trade-offs involving stability, cushioning, grip, weight, and running comfort, based on testing it reports across gym and outdoor surfaces. Those are Tom’s Guide’s observations, not findings from a test of your pair or a reason to assume the same result for every wearer.

WearTesters has an older model-specific review titled “NOBULL Training Shoes: Outwork & Impact Performance Review.” Its naming reflects an earlier point in the lineup’s history, so it should not be read as a review of every current NOBULL model. NOBULL’s “The Expert’s Guide to Gym Shoes” offers brand guidance on choosing gym footwear; it is not an independent performance assessment.

What to check before choosing a pair
- Match the model to the work: distinguish strength training from higher-impact classes, cardio, walking, and running rather than relying on the NOBULL name alone.
- Check the exact version: Outwork, Outwork Edge, and the other models have different stated use cases; do not transfer one model’s specifications to another.
- Assess fit for your foot: the Outwork page says true to size, but that brand guidance cannot settle individual fit or width preference.
- Read numbers in context: the listed weights are for two specified sizes, and the performance labels are NOBULL’s own ratings.
- Separate specifications from wear evidence: stack, drop, materials, and tread describe the product; they do not prove comfort, grip, or durability over your sessions.
