9to5Toys reported the black, 5-foot (1.5 m) Beats woven USB-C-to-USB-C cable at $7.50 on October 3, 2026, describing it as 50% off its stated $15 regular price and Prime shipped. Check the deal report and current listing before buying: price, stock, and shipping availability can change.
What the deal includes
The cable is black, measures 5 feet (1.5 m), and has a USB-C connector at each end. The package is described as one cable; a USB-C power adapter is not included. The reported 50% discount compares the $7.50 deal price with the $15 reference price stated by 9to5Toys, not an independently audited price history.
Charging, data, and compatibility
- Charging: The report states support for charging up to 60W. You will need a compatible USB-C power adapter, sold separately, and a device that can accept charging over USB-C.
- Data: Data transfer is specified at USB 2.0 rates. This is not a high-speed data cable; check your device and workflow requirements if transfer speed matters.
- Devices and car connections: 9to5Toys lists Apple and Android USB-C devices, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Compatibility depends on the connected device, port, and setup; the report does not identify tested devices.
Is it a good fit?
The 5-foot length offers some reach between a device and a charger or car connection. The stated 60W ceiling and USB 2.0 data rate are the key limits to weigh: compare them with the power and transfer speeds your devices require before purchasing.
9to5Toys describes the braided cable as tangle-free and reinforced to help prevent fraying. Those are product-description claims, not independent durability test results; the report provides no benchmark or hands-on test.
