The shoebox-shuffling game itself is optional entertainment and does not award a prize. No purchase is necessary, but entrants must be DSW VIP Rewards members and meet the age and residency requirements.
What is the DSW Shoebox Shuffle?
The DSW Shoebox Shuffle Program runs from September 28, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time through October 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. It combines an Instant Win Reveal and a sweepstakes with an optional interactive game. DSW’s official rules make an important distinction: the shuffle game is for entertainment only; the two separate prize mechanisms are the Instant Win Reveal and the sweepstakes.

The promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old and are DSW VIP Rewards members when they enter. The rules say no purchase is necessary and that a purchase or payment will not increase the chance of winning.
How to enter the DSW Shoebox Shuffle
- Log in to your DSW VIP account.
- Visit the promotion site and submit the registration form with your first and last name and the email address associated with your account.
- After registering, choose whether to play the optional shoebox shuffle game for entertainment or skip it and proceed directly to the Instant Win Reveal.
- Check the Instant Win Reveal result. A displayed potential win is not final until DSW and its administrator verify eligibility.
Registration provides one sweepstakes entry and one Instant Win Reveal play. An eligible participant may register once per day for each during the promotion period. The optional shuffle game is not an additional prize entry or a way to improve the chance of winning.

What can you win?
The official rules list 150,450 Instant Win Reveal prize opportunities, all awarded as DSW VIP Rewards points. They also offer five separate sweepstakes prizes. DSW states that the approximate retail value of all listed prizes is $204,750.
| Prize mechanism | Prize | Number offered | Value stated in the rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| Instant Win Reveal | 1,000 DSW VIP Rewards points | 450 | $5 per award |
| Instant Win Reveal | 400 DSW VIP Rewards points | 50,000 | $2 per award |
| Instant Win Reveal | 200 DSW VIP Rewards points | 100,000 | $1 per award |
| Sweepstakes | $500 DSW gift card | 5 | $500 per gift card |
The headline figure refers to 150,450 instant-win award opportunities, not a promise that every entrant will win. The five gift-card prizes are awarded separately through the sweepstakes. VIP points have no cash value and are subject to DSW VIP Rewards program terms.

Does playing the shuffle game guarantee a prize?
No. The shuffle game itself offers no prize. The Instant Win Reveal is a separate chance to receive points, while the sweepstakes winners are selected in a later drawing. The rules do not establish a fixed entrant-level probability: instant-win odds depend on remaining prizes, timing, and eligible play volume.
When does the promotion end, and when is the drawing?
Entries close October 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The sweepstakes drawing is expected on or around October 26, 2026. The rules treat displayed instant wins and selected sweepstakes entrants as potential winners until eligibility and other requirements are verified.
