The earlier date of February 19, 2026, applies to the game’s Steam and PlayStation 5 launch. In its announcement that day, publisher JanduSoft said the Xbox Series versions were open for preorder and the Nintendo Switch version would follow. That announcement did not give the Switch date.
What kind of game is Manairons?
JanduSoft and 3Cat developed Manairons, with JanduSoft as publisher. Nintendo describes it as a 3D action platformer set in the Pyrenees. You play as Nai, a manairó awakened after centuries imprisoned in a magical “canut.” Nai must recover it and stop Llorenç, a landowner whose use of the manairons has brought industrialization and chaos to the village of Vilamont.

JanduSoft says the story draws inspiration from a traditional fable from the Catalan Pyrenees. The game’s premise brings that folklore into a setting where old legends meet factories and mischievous magic.

The dates refer to different platform releases, rather than conflicting announcements. JanduSoft’s February 19, 2026 announcement said Manairons launched that day on Steam and PlayStation 5, with Xbox Series preorders open and the Switch version to come later. Nintendo’s US listing now gives October 8, 2026 for Switch.
