On Google’s UK offer page checked on 3 October 2026, Google AI Pro is included for 12 months and then listed at £18.99 a month. The companion app offers do not all last a year: four run for three months and two for 12 months, with separate renewal dates. Keeping every listed service for a full year at the displayed rates would cost £855.51 plus US$75 including Google AI Pro, or £627.63 plus US$75 for the six companion apps alone. Those are illustrations, not a single bill or a required year-two spend.
What happens when the Googlebook free trials end?
Each subscription has its own trial length, renewal price and billing cadence. The Google AI Pro trial is 12 months. Of the six separately listed app offers, YouTube Premium, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and CapCut Pro each include three months; Luminar and GeForce NOW each include 12 months. That means some companion subscriptions may begin charging well before the core AI plan does, depending on when each offer is redeemed.
The following are the rates displayed on Google’s UK Googlebook page when checked on 3 October 2026. They are promotional offer-page figures, not guaranteed future prices or prices for other countries. Google’s UK Googlebook offer page is the source for every row.
| Service | Included period | Listed renewal price |
|---|---|---|
| Google AI Pro | 12 months | £18.99/month |
| YouTube Premium | 3 months | £12.99/month |
| Adobe Premiere | 3 months | £6.99/month |
| Adobe Photoshop | 3 months | £6.99/month |
| Luminar | 12 months | £39.99/year |
| CapCut Pro | 3 months | £21.99/month |
| GeForce NOW | 12 months | US$6.25/month |
GeForce NOW is shown in US dollars even on the UK page. The listed currency is preserved here; the actual amount charged in another currency may depend on payment and conversion arrangements not specified by that page.

How much could keeping everything cost?
To compare the displayed rates, here is the arithmetic for 12 months at each listed renewal rate. It includes the core Google AI Pro plan in the first column and excludes it in the second. For the monthly services, the calculation multiplies the displayed monthly rate by 12; Luminar is counted at its displayed annual rate. GeForce NOW is kept separate because Google lists it in US dollars.
| Services counted | Illustrative cost at listed rates |
|---|---|
| Google AI Pro plus all six companion apps | £855.51 plus US$75 |
| Six companion apps only | £627.63 plus US$75 |
This is a rate-based illustration, not Google’s quoted bill or a synchronized calendar year-two total. It assumes every listed rate stays unchanged for a full 12 months, ignores the staggered included periods, and assumes the reader keeps every service. Your actual charges depend on which offers you redeem, when their included periods end, what you cancel and the prices then in effect.

The math for the monthly services is straightforward but easy to underestimate: Adobe Premiere and Photoshop are listed at £6.99 a month each, or £167.76 combined over 12 months at those rates. The other monthly renewals are £155.88 for YouTube Premium, £263.88 for CapCut Pro and £227.88 for Google AI Pro over 12 months. Luminar is £39.99 for the listed year, while GeForce NOW is US$75 for 12 months at the displayed rate.
Which trials end first?
Google’s page lists three-month offers for four apps, so those are the first potential companion-service renewals to watch. Luminar and GeForce NOW have 12-month included periods, like Google AI Pro, but their renewal cadence differs: Luminar is listed annually, while Google AI Pro and GeForce NOW are listed monthly after the included period. The page does not establish that all offer periods begin or end on the same date.

Who can redeem the Googlebook offer?
Google’s Googlebook offer terms, last updated 21 September 2026, state that the Google One offer provides 12 months of benefits from redemption and must be redeemed by 31 March 2027. The terms list Australia, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, the UK and the US during the offer window. They require a Google Payments account and qualifying payment method, and say the offer cannot be combined with other Google One offers.

The terms exclude some account situations, including certain current higher-tier, add-on, third-party, family-plan and discounted Pixel bundle subscribers. They also say that redeeming this offer while another trial is active revokes the existing trial; trial durations do not stack. Because eligibility depends on account and subscription status, review the terms before redeeming rather than assuming that owning a qualifying laptop is sufficient.
Google’s UK offer page ties its AI Pro offer to eligible Googlebook purchase and activation on or after 1 October 2026, with redemption by 31 March 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The country list and deadline are subject to the current offer terms, so check Google’s terms if you are redeeming later or outside the UK.

How to avoid unwanted renewal charges
- Record each redemption date. The companion apps have different included periods, and the offer terms define the Google One period as 12 months from redemption.
- Check each service’s renewal date and price. Treat the Google UK page’s figures as listed rates when checked on 3 October 2026; Google’s terms say the standard monthly Google One price applies after its offer period and prices may change.
- Cancel services you do not plan to keep before their included periods end. Google says the Google One subscription automatically begins at the standard monthly price when its offer period ends until cancelled. A cancellation during the offer period leaves membership active until that period ends.
- Check storage before cancelling Google One. If your account is using more storage than its remaining limit after cancellation, Google says you cannot store new items until you free space or buy a membership.
Do not confuse this with older Chromebook perks
Google’s Chromebook perks page describes a separate Chromebook Plus Google One AI Premium offer with a 31 December 2024 deadline. That expired offer concerns a different plan and is not the current Googlebook bundle described above.
