Saros made 27 saves, according to CBS Sports’ player page and RotoWire’s Oct. 2 recap. He allowed three goals as Nashville fell 3–1 to the Wild.
RotoWire’s “little help” phrasing reflects the team’s 30–20 disadvantage in shots: Minnesota put 30 shots on goal, while Nashville managed 20. It is an interpretation of the game’s outcome and shot disparity, not a separate goalie statistic.
What does the game mean for Saros’ early fantasy outlook?
RotoWire’s Oct. 2 recap noted that Nashville had no back-to-back games scheduled until Oct. 24–25 and projected that Saros could shoulder a heavy workload early in the season. It also said he figured to have enough work to pursue 20 or more wins for a seventh straight season. Those are early-season expectations, not confirmed 2026–27 results or a guaranteed start total.
