What makes this matchup notable?
Atlanta won five of the clubs’ six regular-season games in 2026, including a three-game sweep at Truist Park in August, according to the Dodgers’ pre-series announcement. That record is context, not a forecast of the Division Series.
This is the clubs’ sixth postseason meeting and their first since the 2021 National League Championship Series, which Atlanta won.
