Just A DVD Incremental makes the familiar wait for a bouncing DVD logo to hit a screen corner into a single-player idle game: bounces earn progress, and upgrades improve the logo as you work toward that corner hit. A free demo is listed on Steam, while the full game is planned for December 7, 2026.

How the DVD-logo game works

The premise starts with the old TV-screen diversion: watch the DVD logo bounce and hope it lands exactly in a corner. In Just A DVD Incremental, that wait becomes the core of an incremental progression loop. Steam describes upgrades for speed, efficiency, and special effects; Dexerto reports that bounces earn rewards that players can use to improve the logo and its efficiency.

It is presented as a single-player PC game by developer kealsoft-labs and publisher kealsoft. Steam also lists Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing for the full game.

What is available now, and what is planned?

The Steam demo listing says the demo was released on September 23, 2026, and offers an early taste of the core experience and upgrades. The full game is planned for December 7, 2026; that is a scheduled date, not confirmation that it has launched.

Can your PC run it?

The full-game Steam listing gives the following Windows 10 requirements. Its recommended graphics and processor should not be read as firm necessities: the developer says the recommended configuration reflects the best spec tested and is likely far more powerful than the game needs to function optimally.

Listing Operating system Processor Graphics Storage
Minimum Windows 10 “Pretty Old” Built-in graphics 1 GB available
Recommended Windows 10 Ryzen 7 7700X AMD 7900 XTX 4 GB available

The unusually high recommended configuration comes with this developer note in the Steam requirements: “This is just the best spec I tested on. I’m sure it does not remotely need this much power to function optimally.” The listing does not provide a more precise minimum processor model or a tested performance target.

What to know before trying it

  • The demo is the relevant way to sample the early loop before the planned full release.
  • Steam describes a progression game built around bounces and upgrades; the published listings do not establish how long progression takes or how the game performs on particular hardware.
  • Any deeper upgrades, cosmetics, trails, or additional logos should be treated as planned full-game content unless the Steam listing is updated to say they are available.
