Yes. In 007 First Light, you can change Bond’s outfit during New Game+ by opening the journal, choosing an unlocked outfit, then restarting from the checkpoint you want to play. First, complete the campaign on any difficulty to unlock New Game+. The feature arrived in the free Extended Operations update, Update 1.3.0, on October 1, 2026.
How to change Bond’s outfit in New Game+
- Complete the campaign on any difficulty to unlock New Game+.
- Start a New Game+ run.
- Open the journal during the run and select an outfit you have unlocked.
- Restart from your chosen checkpoint to play with that outfit.
IO Interactive describes New Game+ as a replay with unlocked outfits and gadgets. Its patch notes specify that outfit selection happens through the journal during the New Game+ run, followed by a checkpoint restart. The notes do not describe this as an unrestricted wardrobe change in the initial campaign. See the October 1 announcement and the Update 1.3.0 patch notes.
What carries over—and what is restricted
Unlocked outfits and gadgets carry into the replay. Gadget selection has an additional limit: during a mission, you can switch only to gadgets already unlocked at that point in the story. So outfit choice is a New Game+ customization feature, while gadget choice remains tied to story progression.
Choose a difficulty; 00 is optional
New Game+ lets you combine custom outfits and gadgets with Easy, Normal, Hard, or 00 difficulty. You do not need to choose 00 to change Bond’s outfit. The update describes 00 as the tougher option, with faster enemy reactions, tighter combat, and restricted gadget use when guards are watching.

Why the change matters
Before this update, campaign outfits followed the story’s presentation rather than a player-selected wardrobe. An Epic Games Store guide published May 29, 2026 described costumes as available for TacSim and through rewards, drops, challenges, and editions, while campaign outfits changed automatically. That guide predates Update 1.3.0; the New Game+ outfit selection described in the current patch notes is the newer arrangement. See the dated Epic Games Store costume guide for that earlier context.

Extended Operations also adds Photo Mode, TacSim activities, weapons and outfits, and more than 700 fixes and improvements, according to IO Interactive’s Update 1.3.0 notes. These additions are separate from the steps required to change outfits in New Game+.
