The silicone palm rest included with the Logitech G PRO X2 RAPID has earned positive comfort impressions, but one reviewer found that it could lift when he raised his hands. That is evidence of movement in one review—not proof that every rest wobbles or that the product has a widespread defect.
Is the Logitech G PRO X2 RAPID wrist rest any good?
On comfort, published reviewers are positive. ComputerBase describes the included rest as large and lists it among the comfortable parts of the keyboard. PC Gamer also praised its initial feel, while noting that its preview was preliminary and comparisons were incomplete.
Product material may call it a “palm rest”; “wrist rest” is the familiar term many buyers use. B&H lists a silicone palm rest among the box contents for the Logitech G PRO X2 TKL RAPID RGB Gaming Keyboard.
Does the wrist rest wobble?
The clearest reported issue is lifting, not a measured side-to-side wobble. In a September 23, 2026 review, The Shortcut’s Adam Vjestica said the XL silicone rest was comfortable, but reported that “when I’d lift my hands away from the keyboard, the palm rest would come with it.” He described this as a practical drawback, particularly with clammy palms.

That is one reviewer’s personal-use observation. The available reviews do not provide a controlled stability test, a wobble measurement, or a rate of affected units. Comfort and staying put are separate qualities: a rest can feel comfortable while still moving when hands lift from it.
What to consider before buying
- Comfort: Multiple reviewers describe the large rest positively, though comfort remains subjective.
- Stability: If you often lift your hands from the rest, Vjestica’s observation is worth weighing; it does not establish that every unit behaves this way.
- Included item: B&H lists a silicone palm rest in the box for its G PRO X2 TKL RAPID RGB listing.
- Price and availability: The Shortcut review listed $229.99. That is the review’s price, not a verified live or worldwide price; availability and pricing vary by market and date.
Logitech Japan’s announcement uses the regional name Logicool PRO X2 RAPID and gives October 15, 2026 as its planned Japanese release date. That is a Japan-specific date, not a global launch date.

Verdict
The included rest appears comfortable, but the evidence supports a specific caution rather than the blanket claim that it is “very wobbly”: one reviewer said it sometimes came up with his hands. If you need a rest that stays firmly in place as your hands move, treat that report as a potential drawback, not a proven defect across the product line.
