The report did not establish availability on other platforms or include a changelog, so the patch’s specific changes remain unconfirmed.
What is confirmed about Battlefield 6 update 1.000.033?
- Reported date: October 2, 2026.
- Reported version: 1.000.033.
- Platform: MP1st reported it available at least on PS5. Its report does not confirm a complete rollout across platforms.
- Patch contents: The report said DICE had not explained what the follow-up update contained at publication. No specific fix or change can be attributed to version 1.000.033 on that basis. MP1st’s October 2 report
Did update 1.000.033 fix the match-joining error?
That is not confirmed. MP1st reproduced a developer statement acknowledging a small error message that could appear at the bottom right of the screen when joining a match. The developers said gameplay and matchmaking remained unaffected while the team worked on a fix. The report does not say that version 1.000.033 included that fix.
Why might players see familiar faces in consecutive matches?
In a separate developer communication reproduced by MP1st, players were told they might see more familiar faces across consecutive matches over the following days. The developers expected this to be more noticeable in official playlists, where players share the same map and mode rotation. This communication is context about matchmaking experience, not confirmation that update 1.000.033 changed matchmaking.
How does this differ from Battlefield 6 update 1.4.3.5?
EA’s official 1.4.3.5 notes describe a preceding, separate update—not the changelog for version 1.000.033. EA characterized 1.4.3.5 as a smaller quality-of-life update covering menus, the HUD, social features, game modes, maps, AI behavior, and stability. EA said it would be available to download across platforms at 08:00 UTC on September 30, 2026. EA’s official 1.4.3.5 update notes

Because the October 2 report confirms availability only at least on PS5, players on other platforms should check their game’s update status or platform storefront rather than assume the same rollout. Until EA or DICE publishes notes for 1.000.033, the exact changes and full platform availability remain unverified.
