Tactical Adventures released Solasta II Hotfix #3 – v0.4.4.114967 on October 1, 2026. Its patch notes cover fixes to combat, quests, multiplayer, crashes, UI, and localization, while also listing issues that remain unresolved. The developer said this is likely to be among the last hotfixes before it shifts focus back to Early Access Update #2; that is a tentative plan, not a release-date announcement. Read the official Hotfix #3 notes.

Combat, companions, and spell fixes

  • Clicking a character’s portrait in the initiative bar now focuses that character even when it is not their turn. The camera should also follow combat action properly.
  • The Giant Crab Clacker’s Inky Spit attack is fixed. Ilias’s weapon and animation mismatch and combat readiness were addressed; the notes also specify that he attacks twice per turn and has shield bash. Landry should no longer use a sword to shoot arrows.
  • Turn Undead conditions should clear when an affected target takes damage. The Mana Painter Sorcerer can no longer use Mana Drain on allies.
  • More cases where enemy turns failed to end after opportunity attacks were fixed. The metallic sound when preparing a punch was also addressed.
  • Additional combat fixes cover characters who stayed prone after combat, an end-turn button temporarily disabled after damage, and the incorrect Back button shown as combat started. Cleave Weapon Mastery should work for non-host players, and some characters’ weapon masteries should remain changeable after two rests.
  • A stealth ranged attack that could cost a multiplayer character all movement on their first turn was addressed. The notes also cover pushing Deorcas out of her shield during the tutorial and a tutorial disruption caused by rapidly pressing Short Rest at a specific point.

Character progression, quests, and world events

  • The patch addresses a reported stat reset when multiclassing beyond level 1 in a secondary class. The developer asks players to report any other cases that remain.
  • Fast travel to the Shrine to Arun from Tamesh Camp is fixed, as is recruiting Sethina after fast-traveling to the tavern in Caer Mar. An unintended tutorial rest before the Kobold fight was removed.
  • A previous hotfix had affected the character creator’s inner iris size; this update fixes that issue. It also addresses an invisible Scar #2 icon in character creation and Authentic Difficulty component options defaulting off.
  • Autoprepared spells should be usable again. Two incorrect Siklas Witch dialogue or party references were fixed, along with contextual actions—such as stabilizing an ally—that could fail to appear or work.
  • Map unveiling was fixed for parts of Siklas Temple, Lion’s Den, and Caer Mar. Other world-event fixes address a non-host being launched far away after an event and a rare multiplayer blocker in Lion’s Den.

Multiplayer and stability changes

  • Vulnerability and resistance should now appear in non-host players’ combat logs, and non-host quest lists are capped at three quests on screen. The update also reduces character jitter.
  • Several non-host combat and action problems, blocker cases, camera issues, and crashes were addressed. These include a host camera mis-following after a non-host activates a lantern during indirect control or lands a final blow.
  • A multiplayer save reload during a cutscene could crash non-hosts; that case was fixed. The notes also address a rare crash when exiting a Random Encounter, crashes from quick-saving or quick-loading while an enemy is highlighted, and host and non-host players activating Long Rest within one frame.
  • Other fixes cover lending pact weapons and an inventory click that could open a debug screen during a companion’s turn.

UI, cutscenes, and localization

  • Spell visual effects that appeared to non-host players during cutscenes were addressed, as was a lexicon window that could remain visible during an automated cutscene.
  • Localization changes include Spanish Kivuli name tags and climbing text, English weapon-configuration loading-screen tags, Russian Paladin creation tags, missing tutorial and cleric spell-list strings, and Exhaustion text.

Known issues still listed by Tactical Adventures

The patch notes retain a separate Known Issues list. These are not described as fixed by Hotfix #3:

  • In multiplayer, ally portraits sometimes appear as enemies.
  • Rapidly clicking weapon attacks sometimes triggers two attacks, and non-host Fighters sometimes trigger their power twice.
  • Combat death countdowns can behave erratically.
  • A player joining while the host reloads a save can cause a crash.
  • Players have reported combat freezes or crashes on some Nvidia 4060 Ti setups; the notes do not say that every 4060 Ti system is affected.
  • Rarely, reloading a combat autosave can cause visibility or targeting problems.
  • Non-hosts may be missing characters in multiplayer World Event dioramas.
  • A player who joins during combat may see dead enemies as alive, although those enemies cannot be targeted.

What the developer said about the next update

Tactical Adventures described Hotfix #3 as likely to be among the last hotfixes before returning to work on its next major release, Early Access Update #2. The wording is explicitly tentative: it does not give an Update #2 launch date or rule out another hotfix.

How to report a remaining bug

Tactical Adventures directs players to its support page to submit a ticket and says no account is needed. Include the circumstances of the issue and whether you were hosting or joining, where relevant, to help distinguish multiplayer cases.

Platform context

The official Solasta II site lists the game for PC (Steam) during Early Access and says it is playable on Steam Deck; Steam Deck verification at version 1.0 is described as an aim, not a current verification status. See the official Solasta II site for its platform information.
