What is Hive Axyl?
Hive Axyl is Com2uS Platform’s game backend service. The company describes it as an all-in-one SDK and management console that brings backend setup, service operations, and analytics into one workflow. Com2uS Platform previewed Axyl at Hive Tech Summit 2026 before announcing its launch date of September 30, 2026. Com2uS Platform’s launch announcement and its Hive Tech Summit announcement describe the launch and product positioning.
The product page presents Axyl as adaptable to solo and indie developers, small teams operating live games, global launches, and enterprise deployments. It says teams can combine modules to suit their service scale; these are vendor-stated use cases, not independently documented customer results. The Hive Axyl product page describes the available functions.
What features does Hive Axyl provide?
Com2uS describes Axyl as covering several common backend and operations tasks:

These are capabilities described by Com2uS; the available product information does not establish how they perform in a particular game or deployment.
Is an AI agent required?
No. Com2uS says Axyl’s AI agent can interpret natural-language requests and generate SDK integration code for tasks such as login and payment setup, while developers may write code directly instead. The company has also announced support for a Codex plugin, describing natural-language prompts for backend settings and core functions. These are product claims: the reviewed materials provide no independent benchmarks for code accuracy, integration speed, or developer productivity. How much does Hive Axyl cost?
Com2uS’s Axyl FAQ says beta access is free. It plans usage-based pricing after beta, but has not yet stated the billing criteria or rates. The separate Hive Platform pricing page covers Hive generally, not Axyl pricing, so its Trial, On-Demand, and Enterprise plans should not be treated as Axyl plans. The Axyl product page and FAQ state Axyl’s beta and planned pricing position; the general Hive pricing page is for the broader platform.
Can existing Hive v4 games keep using v4?
Yes. The Axyl FAQ says existing games may continue on Hive v4 with support maintained. Com2uS also says new games can choose between Axyl and Hive v4. This is the company’s stated continuity position, not a guarantee about any particular project’s migration needs or long-term requirements. The Axyl FAQ provides the compatibility statement.

What do Com2uS’s Hive scale figures mean?
Com2uS Platform says the existing Hive platform’s accumulated experience had been applied to more than 250 global games and that Hive had more than 980 million cumulative global users. These are company-reported figures for Hive platform history; they are not Axyl customer or user counts and have not been independently verified in the reviewed materials. The launch announcement gives the figures.

The launch materials describe Axyl’s intended feature set but do not provide independent performance testing or a head-to-head comparison with other game backend services. The product page refers to cross-platform environments and major game engines but does not provide a full compatibility matrix. Studios evaluating it should confirm the following directly with Com2uS for their game and deployment:

- Whether the analytics and live-operations workflow fits their release and support needs.
- Which geographic availability, data, support, and service-level terms apply.
- How usage will be billed after beta, once Axyl’s rates and billing criteria are published.
