To get the Blacktide Sailboat in Fisch, travel to Forsaken Shores and speak with Race Leader Flint near the Shipwright, then complete his boat race. Recent guides associate the boat with this race and report an under-1:15 target, but the exact time requirement is not consistent across guides. Check Flint’s live challenge text for the requirement in your current game version.
Where to find Flint
Go to Forsaken Shores and look for Race Leader Flint near the Shipwright. A recent guide places Flint on the island’s north side; another gives approximate coordinates of -2606.2, 150.4, 1059.2. These are guide-reported location details and may shift with game updates. TheGamer’s Blacktide Sailboat guide and Gamezebo’s Fisch boat-race guide identify Flint at Forsaken Shores.
How to unlock the Blacktide Sailboat
- Travel to Forsaken Shores.
- Find Race Leader Flint near the Shipwright and speak to him.
- Read the challenge text Flint displays. If it sets a time limit, use that live requirement rather than assuming an older guide still matches the game.
- Start the race, follow the course markers, and finish the course while meeting any stated time requirement.
- After the race, check your in-game boats menu for the Blacktide Sailboat. Standard boats are generally spawned from Shipwrights, but guides describe Blacktide as a race reward rather than a regular purchase.
Do you need to finish under 1:15?
Recent guides report an under-1-minute-15-second target for the Forsaken Shores race. However, their descriptions do not establish the unlock condition consistently: one associates the Blacktide Sailboat with the timed trial, while another says completing the track awards the boat and the Scurvy Speedster title without making clear whether the time threshold is required. The TheGamer guide and Gamezebo guide are third-party sources, and no official source located for this unlock confirms the distinction. Use Flint’s current challenge text as the deciding instruction.
Is the Blacktide Sailboat a purchase or merchandise reward?
Available guides describe the Blacktide Sailboat as an in-game race reward, not a regular boat purchase. Fisch’s official DLC page says merchandise tokens can unlock virtual items, but does not list the Blacktide Sailboat as one of those rewards. Buying merchandise is therefore not an established way to obtain this boat.
