Cat Secretary is an adventure game from Good Story Guild, which Steam lists as both its developer and publisher. You play a stray cat hired by DOX Inc., a fictional entertainment conglomerate whose management is replacing human workers with robots. The story uses the workplace upheaval as satire, while the cat tries to help coworkers and uncover what the company is planning.
Play alternates between office duties by day and exploration after hours. Daytime activities described by the developers include making coffee, repairing a router, completing office tasks, and improving the lobby. In the same post, Rachel Music, identified as Good Story Guild’s Head of Audio, describes the writing team’s approach as “parody with a purpose,” using humor to invite a change of heart. Music also argues that comedy is something AI will never do well and says the team wanted to bring joy, delight, and surprise to the game. Those are her views on the creative approach, rather than established facts about AI’s capabilities.
The post also reported over 10,000 Steam wishlists in 2026. That is a developer-reported figure from the post, not a current wishlist count, sales total, or independently verified audience statistic.
