You can pin a shared SharePoint document library to Quick access in OneDrive for Business from the library itself. The command is available at the library level—not while you are inside a folder or subfolder. OneDrive also has a Recent list for recently accessed document libraries, which is populated automatically rather than pinned.
Pin a shared library to Quick access

Open OneDrive for Business, or open the shared document library in SharePoint.

Make sure you are viewing the document library itself, not a folder or subfolder within it.

Select Pin to Quick Access. The library is added to the top of Quick access in OneDrive.

To remove it later, unpin the library from Quick access. Microsoft describes the feature as a way to keep frequently used shared libraries easy to find: Microsoft SharePoint Team announcement.
Quick access and Recent: what each list does

Microsoft Support describes Quick access as a way to find frequently used storage locations, including recently used shared libraries, channels, and folders. Its availability is tied to OneDrive for Business accounts: Find SharePoint and Teams files in OneDrive.
Why a library or the pin command may be missing

You are inside a folder. Navigate back to the document library level; Pin to Quick Access is offered for a library, not from within a folder or subfolder.

You have not visited or been granted access to the library. Quick access can be empty until you have access to shared libraries and have visited them. A new shared library may take up to 48 hours to appear in the shared-libraries list, according to Microsoft Support.

Your OneDrive experience is still rolling out, or you are signed into a different account. Microsoft says the feature is being rolled out gradually; some users may temporarily see the older Sites tab. Sign-in state affects which account and Quick access items appear. Check that OneDrive is using the work or school account that has access to the library. See Microsoft’s OneDrive navigation guidance.
What changed and when
Microsoft’s change added library pinning to OneDrive for Business and a Recent list of document libraries in OneDrive navigation and on the More places page. The rollout notice was MC343795; the related Microsoft 365 roadmap item was 82165. Microsoft’s 2022 notice scheduled targeted release for late March, standard release for mid-April, and expected completion by late April. Those dates describe the original rollout, not a current release timetable. The notice warned that the Teams & Sites list in left navigation could change and recommended user communication, updated training and documentation, and help-desk preparation.
