Gears of War: E-Day Act 2’s collectible count is not confirmed as 32 by the available sources. A community guide index instead lists 38 collectibles alongside separate totals for Hard Cases, Supply Caches, and Secondary Objectives. For a practical route, start with the early landmarks below, then treat Chapter 2 as the main area to explore carefully.
How many collectibles are in Act 2?
The title’s “32” count is unsettled. An October 2026 community post indexes an Act 2 guide as “38 Collectibles / 36 Hard Cases / 11 Supply Caches / 7 Secondary Objectives.” That is a user-posted guide index, not an official game total. The categories matter: walkthroughs may list ordinary collectibles alongside caches, cases, and optional activities, so those figures should not be treated as interchangeable.

Xbox Wire lists “Memories From E-Day” for finding all campaign collectibles and names several achievements that unlock during Act 2, but it does not give an Act 2-specific collectible count: Xbox Wire’s achievement guide.
Where are the early Act 2 collectibles?
FPSHUB’s October 2, 2026 walkthrough is marked as a work in progress. It describes Act 2 as opening into a broad explorable area with side objectives and gives these early location cues. They are third-party directions, not independently verified positions.

Are any Act 2 collectibles missable?
Patch Crazy flags entering the hotel and proceeding through gates as points of no return on its route, and recommends searching nearby before moving on. The guide also notes that some locations become accessible only at particular story stages. These are walkthrough cautions; the sources reviewed do not independently establish how checkpoints or replay options affect collectible recovery.

When following a route, check the exact item label rather than assuming every entry is a standard collectible. Guides may combine collectibles with Hard Cases, Supply Caches, and Secondary Objectives in one chapter list. Keep those categories distinct if you are tracking progress toward the campaign collectible achievement.
