What XMA products will PEI-Genesis distribute?

For a 5G, cryogenic, aerospace, or space design, compare the exact component’s frequency range, attenuation or coupling behavior, power handling, temperature limits, qualification status, and connector interface against the system requirements. The announcement provides no numerical specifications or test data for those comparisons.
What does XMA say about its component design?
XMA says it uses a thin-film process and designs each coaxial component around an in-house manufactured thin-film chip. The company describes thermally anchoring RF signals from the resistive chip to the component mount as a way to support signal integrity. This is a description of its design approach, not a quantified performance claim; product datasheets are needed to assess results for a particular part and operating condition.

What the companies say the partnership adds
Joseph Horsky, Senior Product Manager at PEI-Genesis, said the partnership would extend the distributor’s reach into cryogenics, quantum computing, and 5G RF applications and add engineering support for customers. He also said the collaboration complements PEI-Genesis’s interconnect capabilities.
Matt O’Leary, XMA Corporation’s Director of Sales & Marketing, pointed to PEI-Genesis’s technical sales force and relationships in XMA’s target accounts as reasons for the partnership. These are company statements about the intended value of the agreement, not independent assessments of product performance or customer outcomes.

How to evaluate an XMA component for a project
- Identify the function. Decide whether the design needs attenuation, termination, signal division or combination, coupling, equalization, or DC blocking.
- Match the electrical requirements. Check the part’s frequency range, attenuation or coupling values, power handling, and other specifications against the system design. The announcement does not supply these figures.
- Check the operating environment. For cryogenic, aerospace, defense, or space use, confirm temperature limits and any required qualification or test evidence for the specific product.
