DDR4 SO-DIMM memory
The board has two DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB of memory, according to IBASE’s datasheet. The specified memory type and speed are important when sourcing modules; do not assume that desktop-size DIMMs will fit.

The DisplayPort qualification matters: IBASE specifies it for the AM4 APU series, so confirm that the particular onboard processor and configuration support the intended display use. The datasheet lists the interfaces above but does not establish that every optional module or peripheral is included with a board purchase.
Embedded management features
IBASE positions the MBD301 for embedded deployments and demanding environments. The company says bundled iCONTROL and Observer technologies support automatic power scheduling, power-failure detection, recovery from a system crash, and system boot under low ambient conditions. These are manufacturer-described features, not independent reliability or environmental test results. IBASE’s announcement describes the tools in its product announcement.

The specification also lists hardware monitoring and a 256-level watchdog timer. A watchdog can be relevant in unattended systems that need a mechanism to detect and respond to a stalled system, but the datasheet does not establish a particular deployment’s recovery behavior.
