The Windows-focused endpoint-management startup said it would use the funding to improve its automation product and carry out its go-to-market strategy.
Who invested in Aiden Technologies?
Right Side Capital Management led the round. Participating investors included Congress Avenue Ventures, Gaingels, and SAJE Investments, along with advisors and strategic individual investors.
The company named Richard A. Clarke, Alexsis de Raadt St James, Chris Wysopal, and Anthony Johnson among those advisors and individual investors. Clarke said he saw potential for Aiden to address persistent vulnerabilities in Windows environments.
What does Aiden Technologies do?
Founded in 2020, Aiden described itself as an AI-powered endpoint-management company focused on Microsoft Windows. Its managed service was designed to automate patch management, software deployment, and endpoint-security work across PCs, servers, and virtual desktop infrastructure.

The intended benefit was to help IT teams keep Windows systems patched and configured, support compliance and security standards, and reduce repetitive maintenance. Aiden identified financial services, life sciences, insurance, and healthcare as sectors where this kind of automation could help meet regulatory and internal requirements.
Why did the company raise the money?
Aiden said it planned to use the $2.9 million to improve its automated endpoint-management solution and execute its go-to-market strategy. The company framed its opportunity around the workload shared by IT operations and cybersecurity teams: maintaining endpoint configurations and patches while addressing security risks.

What results did Aiden report?
In a December 2021 company release, Aiden claimed a 97% reduction in vulnerabilities and 75% fewer help-desk tickets. These are company-reported results; the available announcement does not establish that they were independently audited or specify measurement conditions, so they should not be treated as independently verified performance benchmarks.

The $2.9 million announcement was not Aiden’s only seed financing. In May 2023, the company announced a separate $4.5 million seed round co-led by Right Side Capital Management and Blu Venture Investors. The 2023 financing is distinct from the 2021 round covered here.
