Keep the Verify Identity browser tab open, retrieve the newest code from the message titled “Verify your recent sign in,” enter it without extra spaces, and select Submit.
Why Malwarebytes asks you to verify your identity
Malwarebytes uses email-based two-factor authentication (2FA) to help protect Account data. Its Help Center says verification is required every time you sign in, so you need access to the email inbox linked to your Account. Malwarebytes’ verification instructions explain the sign-in code step.
How to verify a Malwarebytes Account sign-in
- Open the Malwarebytes Account login page: my.malwarebytes.com/en/login.
- Enter the email address registered to your Account, then enter your password and select Sign in.
- On the Verify your identity page, wait for the notice that Malwarebytes sent a verification code.
- Leave that browser tab open. In your email, find the message titled Verify your recent sign in and copy its code.
- Return to the Verify Identity tab and enter the newest code exactly, without extra spaces.
- Select Submit. Malwarebytes says you will then be signed in.
If the verification email does not arrive
Malwarebytes identifies spam or junk filtering by your email provider as a reason the message may not appear in your inbox. Check those folders first. If you find the message, mark it as safe and add both sender addresses to your contacts:
- noreply@t.malwarebytes.com
- noreply@d.malwarebytes.com
If the message still does not arrive, ask your email provider to treat both addresses as valid and safe.

Which email address should you use?
Sign in with the email address associated with your Malwarebytes Account. If you bought directly through the Malwarebytes online store, an Account is automatically linked to the email address used for that purchase. If you bought from a retailer or another reseller, you can create an Account on the Malwarebytes Account page and add your license key later. Verification during subscription activation
The email-code step can also appear when you activate a Malwarebytes subscription after signing in. If the activation flow asks you to verify, use the code sent to your registered email and enter the newest one in the open verification page.
