What is the Huawei Ruiying Z10?
The Ruiying Z10 (华为睿影 Z10 模块相机) is an external modular camera made to attach to select Huawei phones using the HyperClick mount. It is more than a clip-on lens: Huawei lists a dedicated image sensor and a retractable zoom lens. Huawei says the mount clicks onto the phone and that captured material can be shared to it.
Huawei also promotes camera-like optical quality and integration with its phone gallery and editing tools. Those are manufacturer claims; the available sources do not include independent comparative image tests.

The 24–240 mm equivalent range describes the camera’s listed focal-length coverage; it does not establish that its images outperform the phone’s built-in cameras or a separate camera. No independent test evidence is available here to settle image-quality comparisons.
Which Huawei phones does it fit?
Huawei names the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition and Mate 90 RS | ULTIMATE DESIGN as compatible. The exact edition matters: Huawei says camera functions require a compatible Huawei phone, so do not assume that the Z10 works with every Mate 90 model or another phone with a similar-looking back.

Before buying, confirm the phone’s full model and edition against Huawei’s compatibility information. The mount is Huawei’s HyperClick system, not a universal phone attachment.

The prices reported in 2026 refer to different things and should not be treated as interchangeable.

So the 19,499-yuan figure does not tell you what the accessory costs by itself. The 5,999-yuan figure is a contemporaneous reported starting price, but the cited report did not resolve whether a standalone purchase was actually available.

Huawei’s China purchase guide says the Mate 90 series went on sale October 1, 2026, through Huawei Mall, Huawei’s official Tmall store, authorized experience stores and Huawei Smart Life stores. Those are China launch channels; the guide cautions that channel availability and final transaction prices may vary.
