Reports say it appears on the dashboard and player profile, showing daily Rewards streaks and progress on the Game Pass Weekly Streak. It is an experiment—not a confirmed public release—and Xbox has not announced that it will become a permanent feature.
What the Xbox Rewards tracker reportedly shows
Digital Citizen reported on September 30, 2026, that selected Xbox Insiders had begun seeing the tracker on the Xbox dashboard and player profile. Pure Xbox had reported on September 25 that players spotted the feature in an Insider update. The reported tracker brings two kinds of streak progress into the Xbox interface:
- Daily Microsoft Rewards streaks
- Game Pass Weekly Streak progress
The reports describe a way to see progress in the console experience; they do not establish that the tracker changes how points or streaks are earned. Digital Citizen’s September 30 report and Pure Xbox’s September 25 report are the reported sources for the feature and its surfaces.
Who can use it, and is it rolling out to everyone?
The tracker has been reported among some Xbox Insiders, not as a feature available to all Xbox players. Neither report confirms a general release, a full Insider rollout, or a permanent commitment. Xbox’s general Insider guidance, quoted by Pure Xbox, says experimental features may vary by player, evolve, or never become permanent. That guidance describes the Insider program broadly; it is not a tracker-specific launch announcement.

How the Game Pass Weekly Streak worked under Xbox’s published rules
Xbox Wire’s January 6, 2025 article described Weekly Streak progress for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members as playing on at least five days in a week. It also described point multipliers for maintaining a streak week over week:

These are the rules in Xbox’s 2025 article, not a guarantee that the same terms apply everywhere or remain unchanged in 2026. Xbox cautioned that Rewards offers can vary by region and change over time. Check the current offer and local terms in the Rewards experience. Xbox Wire’s January 6, 2025 announcement also said gameplay Rewards were available only to players aged 18 and older under those changes. That eligibility statement concerns gameplay Rewards and does not confirm the new tracker’s own availability requirements.
What Microsoft Rewards points and streaks mean
Microsoft Support says Rewards points can be earned through activities such as Bing searches, Microsoft Store purchases, and selected Xbox games or quests. Points have no cash value, and earning opportunities and daily limits vary by country and region. The support page says points expire after 12 months without earning activity; it also notes that Xbox Store purchases may not earn points in every market. These are general program terms, so consult the current local Rewards terms for specifics. Microsoft Support’s Rewards guidance covers earning methods and related conditions.

Follow current Xbox Insider announcements for availability information; do not treat the dashboard or profile appearance in a report as proof of a public rollout.
