When you hear the pairing-mode sound, open Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth, then select Galaxy Buds from the list. If they connect but play no sound, choose them as the Windows audio output.
Pair Galaxy Buds Pro with Windows 10

Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your PC and that the earbuds have charge.

Put both Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds in your ears.

Touch and hold both earbuds’ touchpads simultaneously for more than three seconds. A sound indicates that the Buds are in Bluetooth pairing mode. This is the Buds Pro method; do not use instructions for newer models that use a charging-case control. Samsung’s laptop connection guide explains that the earbuds must first be in pairing mode.

On the PC, select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and other devices.

Select Add Bluetooth or other device, choose Bluetooth, and select Galaxy Buds when they appear. The exact wording can vary by Windows build. Samsung’s Windows 10 connection instructions use the legacy Settings > Devices path.
Choose the Buds as the Windows audio output
Bluetooth pairing and audio routing are separate: Windows can show the Buds as connected while sending sound elsewhere. Select the sound control on the taskbar and choose Galaxy Buds as the output device. If they are missing from the output choices, check Windows sound-device management to see whether the output is disabled, and enable it if necessary. Samsung’s audio troubleshooting guidance also recommends checking volume on both the PC and the earbuds.

If Windows cannot find Galaxy Buds Pro

Confirm that both earbuds are in your ears and hold both touchpads together for more than three seconds. Listen for the pairing-mode sound, then retry Bluetooth discovery in Windows.

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for the PC and that the Buds are charged.

If the Buds connect but remain silent

Select Galaxy Buds as the taskbar sound output and check the volume on both the PC and the earbuds.

In Windows sound-device management, check whether the Buds output is disabled; enable it if so.

If those checks do not resolve the problem, run the Windows 10 sound troubleshooter. Samsung also lists uninstalling active audio or Bluetooth drivers, restarting the PC, and checking for drivers through Windows Update and Samsung Update as later troubleshooting steps. Driver removal is more disruptive, so try output selection and the troubleshooter first. See Samsung’s audio troubleshooting guidance.
Can you update Buds Pro software from a Windows PC?
No. Samsung says Galaxy Buds Pro are not compatible with Galaxy Buds Manager on PC for software updates. The compatibility note is in Samsung’s earbud software-update guidance.
