Ryu, Yuto (Pure Love), Sukuno (Mohoraga), and Jogo (Six-eye) form the strongest consensus picks in Anime Mysterious. They are the safest starting points for a high-performing roster, but the best unit for your next slot depends on whether you need boss damage, crowd control, support, early-wave survival, or more Yen. Rankings are based on guides published September 29–October 2, 2026; check the in-game unit details before investing because balance and discoveries can change placements.
Anime Mysterious tier list: all units ranked
This tier list weighs damage, utility, economy, defense, late-game scaling, and team fit rather than rarity alone. The sources do not publish a consistent dataset of unit costs, damage values, drop rates, or win rates, so the tiers are qualitative and should not be read as a precise statistical ordering.
| Tier | Units | What the tier means |
|---|---|---|
| S — meta core | Ryu; Yuto (Pure Love); Sukuno (Mohoraga); Jogo (Six-eye) | Strongest cross-guide consensus for units to prioritize when their roles fit your lineup. |
| A — high-value alternatives | Wool (Limit OFF); Bory (Awakened); Tojo (Awakened); Elforia (Awakening); Fammy; Free; Itacho (Susano’o); Spood (Yen) | Powerful options whose exact value or ranking varies more by list, mode, and team needs. |
| B — more conditional | Tanzaburo; Yamacho; Last Heir (Awakened); School Girl | Can fill useful gaps, but depend more on progression stage, upgrades, and the rest of your roster. |
The S-tier grouping is the most consistent overlap among Destructoid, TechWiser, and Pro Game Guides. These are not exhaustive rankings of every obtainable unit: the consulted lists do not establish a dependable all-unit dataset, so unlisted units should not be assumed useless or assigned an unsupported tier.
Why the top units rank highly
Ryu: scaling and control for longer runs
Ryu is a strong choice when a stage rewards sustained performance. Destructoid highlights Deferred Judgment damage over time and slowing utility, giving him value beyond immediate damage. Those traits make him especially appealing when your lineup needs help controlling enemies while building toward later waves.

Yuto (Pure Love): a premier damage option
Yuto combines high stats with a passive that copies damage stats, which is why guides place him among the leading DPS picks. The cited guides also mention Cursed Ring as a pairing for skill cooldown or SPA reduction. Treat that as a build suggestion, not a guarantee that the same equipment or setup is best in every mode.
Sukuno (Mohoraga): prioritize for damage
Destructoid calls Sukuno the best Mythic for DPS and notes that he can help farm Yuta when paired with Ryu and Jogo. That makes him a compelling choice when your main gap is damage output, rather than economy or team support.

Jogo (Six-eye): damage, range, and an evolved ultimate
Jogo is repeatedly cited as a leading option because of his damage, range, utility, and evolved ultimate. If your team needs a strong offensive unit with useful reach, he belongs near the top of your consideration list.
Choose by the problem your team needs to solve
Anime Mysterious is a Roblox lane-battler with tower-defense-style play: you deploy units to defeat incoming enemies. A roster usually needs more than damage alone. Use your next slot to address the weakness that is actually ending your runs.

- Boss damage or stronger late waves: Start with Ryu, Yuto (Pure Love), Sukuno (Mohoraga), or Jogo (Six-eye), then consider whether the stage rewards scaling, burst, or reach.
- Team support: Consider Wool (Limit OFF). Destructoid describes a team buff that builds through Fracture stacks; he can pair particularly well with high-area-of-effect units.
- Yen generation: Spood (Yen), Bulme, and School Girl can be valuable because extra Yen helps you deploy or improve the rest of your team. Do not judge an economy unit by damage alone.
- Opening-wave survival or a specific roster gap: Look beyond the S tier. A more conditional unit can be the better immediate pick if it covers the missing role or supports your current progression.
Why guides disagree about Spood and Wool
There is no single settled ladder for every role. Pro Game Guides places Spood in S, Destructoid emphasizes his economy role, and TechWiser places him in A. These positions reflect different ways of valuing Yen generation relative to combat performance; they are not evidence that Spood has one universally correct tier.
Wool (Limit OFF) is also an example of a unit whose value depends on team composition: his support effect is most relevant when your damage dealers can benefit from the buff. More generally, the guides differ on some high-value alternatives and mid-tier units, so treat close placements as judgments rather than definitive power measurements.

How to use the tier list before you invest
- Identify the failure point. Decide whether you are losing to early waves, a boss, weak damage, or a lack of Yen.
- Match the unit to that role. Favor damage leaders for offensive gaps, Wool for support, and economy units when extra Yen would improve the whole run.
- Check your current lineup. A unit that duplicates a role you already cover may add less than a lower-ranked unit that fixes a weakness.
- Verify the live unit information. Check current in-game ability and upgrade details before committing resources; Roblox balance changes and new discoveries can make an older ranking stale.
Pro Game Guides says its rankings may change as information about abilities, stats, and modes becomes available; MrGuider also notes that updates, new discoveries, and playstyle can affect placements. The current lists do not establish a stable authoritative comparison of unit costs, drop rates, damage numbers, or win rates, so do not use this tier list as a substitute for those live details.
