Yes. A single chip can combine Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), GPS and FM radio. MediaTek’s MT6620 was a documented example, combining those functions with Wi-Fi for mobile devices; Texas Instruments’ NL5500 NaviLink 6.0 also combined GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and FM transmit/receive. These were components for device makers, not plug-in accessories for consumers.
What “on one chip” means
A combo chip puts multiple radio functions into one integrated circuit. It does not make those functions interchangeable: Bluetooth handles Bluetooth connections, GPS receives positioning signals, and FM radio operates in its specified band and mode. The device still has to provide the supporting hardware and software interfaces needed to use each function.
Nor does “one chip” mean that every implementation supports the same Bluetooth generation, satellite systems, FM frequencies or audio routes. Those details depend on the part and its design.
Documented chips and what they include
The examples below show both multi-radio integration and more limited radio components. “Not stated” means the cited material does not establish that detail; it is not a claim that the chip lacks the capability.

Why combine radios in one component?
For an OEM building a phone, tablet or other portable device, integration can reduce the board area and bill of materials compared with using separate radio components. The MediaTek and TI materials also point to power management as a design goal. MediaTek specifically described coexistence algorithms and hardware mechanisms intended to help simultaneous voice, data and audio/video traffic share a device that contains several radios.
That is an engineering target, not a promise that every combination of radios, antennas, software and workloads will behave identically. Coexistence support and power behavior depend on the particular chip and device implementation.

What the FM details tell you
“FM included” is not enough information to establish what a device can do. The BCM43303 datasheet’s 65–108 MHz coverage is a specific frequency range, while its RDS/RBDS support and Bluetooth audio-routing example describe additional capabilities. A designer still needs to check the exact band, transmit-versus-receive support, data features and audio path for the chip being considered.
The same distinction applies to GPS and Bluetooth: a part’s name or “combo” label alone does not establish which satellite systems, Bluetooth generation, BLE support or host interfaces it provides. Confirm those items in the documentation for the exact component and intended design.

Who these chips are for
The MT6620 and NL5500 examples are semiconductor components intended for integration into products by device makers. They are not ordinary consumer accessories that a user can simply attach to a computer or phone to add GPS, Bluetooth and FM. A consumer device’s feature set depends on the components its manufacturer selected and how the device was designed.
For component selection, use the chip documentation to verify function set, interfaces, coexistence, power and lifecycle status. The examples establish that multi-radio integration is real; they do not establish current inventory or suitability for a new design. The MAX2745’s obsolete status is a reminder to check lifecycle information rather than assume a named part remains available.
