Apple’s reported “Get Ready” setup for iPhone Duo pre-orders opens Monday, October 12, 2026. That is an advance preparation step—not the preorder itself. Pre-orders begin Friday, October 16, at 5 a.m. Pacific Time (8 a.m. Eastern Time).
When can you get ready for iPhone Duo pre-orders?
According to 9to5Mac’s September 29 report on Apple’s product-page update, the Get Ready process opens October 12 in the Apple Store app and Apple’s online store. It lets customers prepare order details ahead of the preorder opening.
Reported choices include color, storage, wireless carrier, payment method, and other order information. Completing this setup does not place an order or reserve a phone.
What time do iPhone Duo pre-orders start?
Apple says pre-orders begin October 16, 2026, at 5 a.m. Pacific Time. That is 8 a.m. Eastern Time. If you are outside those U.S. time zones, convert 5 a.m. PT on October 16 to your local time and check your country’s Apple Store for its ordering details.

Get Ready may make checkout faster, but neither Apple’s announcement nor the report establishes guaranteed stock or a promised delivery date. Preparing your selections does not guarantee that a particular configuration will be available when you order.
When will iPhone Duo be available in each market?
Apple’s September 9 announcement schedules availability beginning October 23 in more than 70 countries and regions, followed by 28 additional countries and regions on October 30. Those are staged rollout dates, not a promise that every market will offer the phone on the same day. Check your local Apple Store for country-specific availability and terms.

Are iPhone Duo accessories available to order?
Apple also announced two optional accessories available to order October 16. The U.S. prices in Apple’s announcement are:
