Schumacher ’94 — The Birth of a Legend — October 2
Netflix classifies this 2026 film as a documentary about Michael Schumacher’s first Formula 1 World Championship, the 1994 season. Its official description says the story is told through personal interviews and archival footage. Netflix lists Michael Schumacher and Corinna Schumacher as starring and tags the title as German, biographical, sports and motorsports documentary content.

That makes it the weekend’s clear match for Formula 1 followers, motorsports-history viewers and anyone looking for archival sports material. Netflix’s listing does not establish a runtime, review score or viewing-quality verdict, so those details should not be inferred from the announcement.
Why there are not three weekend documentaries
The Netflix week schedule dates Lorne for October 5 and Who Is Martin Mull? for October 7. October 5 is a Monday and October 7 is a Wednesday, so neither is a release during October 2–4.
