Its headline hardware includes a 240 Hz 2560 × 1600 display, up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots and a 99 Wh battery. However, TUXEDO now marks the Gen6 listing as archived, so its current stock, price and warranty terms must be confirmed with an active seller before you buy.
TUXEDO Stellaris 16 Gen6 specifications
These are manufacturer-published specifications from TUXEDO’s archived Gen6 listing, not independent benchmark results.

Display for high-refresh work and play
The 16:10 panel provides 2560 × 1600 pixels, giving more vertical workspace than a conventional 16:9 screen. TUXEDO lists 500-nit brightness and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Those figures describe the panel specification; the available refresh rate in Linux can still depend on graphics mode, driver configuration and the connected workload.
CPU and GPU choices
The Core i9-14900HX is a 24-core, 32-thread mobile processor with a listed power figure of up to 125 W. GPU choices span the RTX 4060 through RTX 4090, with graphics options rated up to 175 W. That range lets buyers choose between a lower-cost configuration and a substantially more capable GPU, but the exact performance difference depends on the selected GPU, cooling behavior, drivers and application.

- Note: This is a replacement fan, not an original one. If you have photos of the front and back of the fan, please send them to us.
Memory, storage and enclosure
TUXEDO lists support for up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory and two PCIe 4.0 M.2 drives. Two storage slots are useful for separating an operating-system installation from project files or games. The all-aluminum chassis is part of the design specification, while the published material does not establish a measured weight, noise level or thermal result.
Is the Stellaris 16 Gen6 still available?
TUXEDO’s current search page labels the Stellaris 16 Gen6 as archived and lists newer generations separately. The archived page provides specifications but does not establish present-day inventory, pricing or remaining regional stock. Treat any marketplace listing as a used, leftover or configuration-specific offer until the seller confirms the exact generation.

- Verify that the listing explicitly says Stellaris 16 Gen6, rather than a newer Stellaris generation.
- Check the installed GPU, memory, SSD layout and display specification against the advertised configuration.
- Confirm seller location, warranty coverage, battery condition and return policy.
- Ask whether the machine includes the Linux image, firmware updates and any region-specific keyboard or power accessories you need.
Because no current price or stock figure is established for the archived model, a purchase recommendation should be based on a live listing rather than the old catalog entry.
Linux support and operating-system considerations
TUXEDO markets its notebooks as Linux-suitable systems with Linux available preinstalled and configured. That is a vendor support position, not a guarantee that every distribution exposes every feature identically.

What TUXEDO’s dated software update says
In an update published on April 14, 2026, TUXEDO reported that its Uniwill x86 platform driver had entered Linux kernel 6.19 and that Linux kernel 7.0 added configurable cTGP support on supported devices. The same update said TUXEDO OS was then using kernel 6.17.0 and described a strategy of maintaining a stable, optimized kernel with selected backports.
Those statements describe TUXEDO’s platform and software work at that date. They should not be read as a blanket promise that every distribution, kernel version or Gen6 hardware feature will behave identically. Before installing another distribution, check its NVIDIA driver packaging, kernel support, suspend behavior, external-display handling and vendor-control features.

- Note: There are many kinds of fan wiring sequence, and they are incompatible. We need to check the fan interface wiring sequence.
- Please send us the front and back of the fan and the interface wiring sequence diagram.
Practical Linux checks before purchase
- Confirm whether the seller supports the exact NVIDIA GPU configuration you are buying.
- Check which kernel and NVIDIA driver versions are supplied by your preferred distribution.
- Verify that brightness control, hybrid-graphics switching, suspend and external monitors meet your workflow requirements.
- Keep the vendor’s recovery media or installation guidance available if you replace the preinstalled system.
TUXEDO Aquaris compatibility
TUXEDO states that the Aquaris accessory is compatible with the Stellaris 16 Gen6 only when the laptop is configured with an RTX 4080 or RTX 4090. RTX 4060 and RTX 4070 configurations therefore do not meet the stated compatibility requirement. The available material does not verify current Aquaris inventory or pricing, so confirm both accessory stock and the exact laptop GPU with the seller.
Who should consider an archived Gen6?
It can make sense when
- You specifically need a Linux-oriented laptop with a high-refresh 16-inch display.
- You find a verified RTX 4080 or RTX 4090 configuration for Aquaris use.
- You value two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, high memory capacity and a large 99 Wh battery.
- The seller provides clear warranty, return and battery-condition information.
Look elsewhere when
- You need guaranteed new stock, current-generation support or a published current price.
- You require independent battery-life, acoustic or performance measurements before buying.
- You need a particular Linux distribution feature that has not been confirmed on this archived model.
How to evaluate a live listing
- Identify the generation: confirm the listing names Gen6 and not a newer Stellaris model.
- Record the configuration: note CPU, GPU, RAM, SSDs, display and charger details.
- Check condition: ask for battery health, photographs of ports and chassis, and evidence of display or keyboard wear.
- Validate Linux needs: confirm the intended kernel, NVIDIA driver and graphics mode support.
- Confirm transaction terms: obtain the price, delivery region, warranty and return policy in writing.
The Gen6 remains a technically ambitious Linux laptop on paper, but its archived status makes configuration verification and seller due diligence as important as the specification sheet.
