The Advantest R6441B is a discontinued digital multimeter covered by the R6441 Series Digital Multimeter Operation Manual, document FOE-8311238B04. Which manual applies to the Advantest R6441B?
Use the R6441 Series operation manual, FOE-8311238B04. Its cover names R6441A, R6441B and R6441C as applicable models. ADC Corporation is credited on the manual; the cover states that it was first printed on February 15, 1994. A digitized copy is hosted by a third-party site, rather than established here as an official Advantest download. Advantest’s discontinued-products listing identifies the R6441B as a digital multimeter and notes it was provided by ADC Corporation.
What does the R6441B measure?
The R6441B specification sheet lists DC and AC voltage, DC and AC current, resistance, continuity and frequency measurement. It specifies true-RMS AC voltage and AC+DC capability. Consult the manual for the setup, limits and operating instructions for the particular function; do not assume every R6441-series model has identical features.

Published measurement coverage
The specification sheet gives R6441B DC voltage ranges from 20 mV through 1000 V, resistance ranges through 200 MΩ, DC current through 10 A, and AC voltage through 700 V. These range endpoints do not replace the manual’s instructions or safety limits.

Using the manual without confusing model variants
Although the operation manual covers the A, B and C models, series membership does not establish that their specifications are interchangeable. Check that a range, function or limit applies specifically to the R6441B before relying on it. The series specification material identifies model-specific differences, including true-RMS AC, AC+DC, frequency measurement, current ranges and accuracy.
For AC+DC measurements, use the manual’s function-specific instructions and limits rather than inferring a setup from the feature name. The available specification information establishes that the R6441B has AC+DC capability, but does not provide a safe or complete procedure by itself.

Before using or buying a used R6441B
- Check the exact model suffix on the instrument; do not treat an R6441A, R6441C or another variant as equivalent.
- Confirm the condition of the individual unit, included probes and documentation. The manufacturer listing and manual do not establish a used unit’s calibration state, test history, present condition or safety.
- Follow the manual’s terminal and safety instructions, especially for measurements involving hazardous voltage. Do not interpret a maximum allowable input figure as authorization for a particular measurement.
- The R6441B is discontinued. The cited sources do not confirm present Amazon inventory or the availability of any particular used unit.
Manual listings and availability
A commercial seller advertises a digital documentation bundle that it says includes an R6441A/B/C operation manual. That is a seller claim, not confirmation of an official Advantest sales channel or current stock. If considering a paid copy, verify that the specific document is FOE-8311238B04, includes the R6441B, and matches the seller’s delivery and terms.
