Its historical AMD64 download archive contains a 2,459,430,912-byte ISO (about 2.29 GiB) plus MD5 and SHA256 checksum files. The release added optical-disc burning in Deepin File Manager, selected Control Center cloud synchronization, subtitle drag-and-drop in Deepin Movie, and battery-time details in the power tooltip.
It is a historical release, not the version currently promoted for new installations. The official download guidance consulted for this article lists deepin 25.2.0 as the newest release and labels deepin 23.1 legacy, recommending an upgrade to deepin 25.
When deepin 15.11 was released
Deepin 15.11 was announced on July 19, 2019. The date appears in the official deepin CD-image archive and in contemporaneous release coverage by BetaNews.
BetaNews described 15.11 as an update rather than a radical departure from 15.10. The release focused on desktop conveniences and bug fixes instead of a major platform redesign.

The official historical archive is the preferred source for the image and its checksums. SourceForge also lists the ISO and checksum files with the same release date, but it is a secondary mirror.
Verify the image before installation
Download the checksum files alongside the ISO, then calculate the MD5 or SHA-256 digest of your copy with the matching operating-system utility. Compare your result with the value in the corresponding archive file. Do not proceed if the digest differs; download the image again from the archive.

The checksum values themselves are not reproduced here because they should be copied directly from the archived files rather than from a secondary transcription.
What changed in deepin 15.11
Optical-disc burning in Deepin File Manager
Deepin File Manager gained the ability to burn files to optical media. The development team statement quoted by BetaNews said: “Disc burning function is now available in Deepin File Manager.”

Control Center cloud synchronization
15.11 added synchronization for selected Control Center settings through Deepin ID. At the July 2019 launch, the report said this feature was limited to users whose Deepin ID location was mainland China, with wider availability described as forthcoming. That was a launch-time limitation; it does not establish how the service operates today.
Drag subtitles into Deepin Movie
Deepin Movie could accept subtitle files by dragging them into the player, reducing the steps needed to load an external subtitle track.

- Download the AMD64 ISO and both checksum files from the historical 15.11 archive.
- Verify the ISO against MD5 or, preferably, SHA-256 before writing it to installation media.
- Create bootable media with a suitable image-writing tool. Deepin’s general deepin 15 documentation references Deepin Boot Maker, but the available documentation does not state a 15.11-specific USB capacity requirement.
- Boot the target computer from that media and follow the installer prompts. Back up personal data first, because operating-system installation can overwrite existing partitions.
The available release material does not establish original minimum CPU, memory, storage, or graphics requirements, so no hardware minimum should be inferred from the ISO size.
Should you install deepin 15.11 now?
For a new installation, no version-specific recommendation can be made in favor of 15.11. The official download guidance consulted lists deepin 25.2.0 as the latest release and identifies deepin 23.1 as legacy, with an upgrade recommendation to deepin 25.
The consulted pages do not establish whether deepin 15.11 still receives security updates, nor do they provide an end-of-support date. Treat the archived image as useful for historical reproduction, compatibility investigation, or software that specifically requires the 15.11-era environment—not as evidence of current maintenance.
