ASUS’s GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB is a low-profile, two-slot graphics card intended for compact desktops and multi-monitor setups—not a card proven to fit every PC. Launch coverage describes a 6GB, sub-75W configuration without an auxiliary PCIe power connector, while ASUS highlights the compact design. Check your case, slot, power limits and monitor connections before buying.
What ASUS announced
The model is the ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB GDDR6. ASUS describes it as a compact, low-profile card for multi-monitor productivity and identifies its design as two-slot. Those features may suit some small-form-factor or OEM desktops, but “low-profile” does not guarantee compatibility with every compact PC.
ASUS’s product page notes that availability varies by region and specifications may change. Check the current listing for your market and exact SKU.
RTX 3050 6GB specifications reported at launch
AnandTech’s March 15, 2024 report describes the 6GB configuration as an entry-level GeForce RTX 3050 variant. Its reported specifications are product data, not independent benchmark results.

These figures describe the 6GB configuration covered in AnandTech’s launch report. ASUS’s product page does not expose a full specification table in the information cited here, so confirm power and other requirements for the specific card you are considering.
How the 6GB card differs from the 8GB RTX 3050
The 6GB LP BRK is not the same configuration as the full 8GB RTX 3050. AnandTech reports a narrower 96-bit memory bus for the 6GB model and compares its 6.77 FP32 TFLOPS with 9.1 FP32 TFLOPS for the 8GB RTX 3050. These are reported specifications, not evidence of how either card performs in a particular game or workload. Choose based on the exact model and workload rather than assuming the shared RTX 3050 name means equivalent capability.

Display connections for older and newer monitors
AnandTech reports that the ASUS board has DVI-D, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, with HDCP 2.3. That mix may help when keeping a DVI monitor alongside newer displays. The report does not establish which combinations of outputs can be used simultaneously or whether a particular adapter will work; verify your monitors’ inputs and the card’s current specifications before planning a setup.
Will the low-profile RTX 3050 fit your PC?
Only a check of your exact system can answer that. ASUS identifies the card as low-profile and two-slot, but the product information cited here does not give exact dimensions. Confirm the following before ordering:

- Case clearance: Check the card’s length, height and thickness against the space in your case. Confirm that the case supports a half-height bracket if required.
- Slot and motherboard: Make sure the card can use the available motherboard slot and that nearby components do not block its two-slot footprint.
- Power: Launch coverage says the 6GB configuration draws around 70W and needs no auxiliary PCIe power connector. Treat that as launch-era reporting and verify the exact SKU and your system’s power limits.
- Airflow: Confirm the card has room to breathe in the case; compact systems can have tighter airflow and clearance constraints.
- Displays: Match the card’s available outputs to your monitors, and check requirements for adapters and multi-monitor use.
- Local listing: Review the current manufacturer or retailer listing for dimensions, specifications, availability and any SKU-specific changes.
Who should consider this card?
The form factor and reported port mix make it a possible upgrade for some compact desktops, OEM systems and PCs connecting displays of different ages. It is an entry-level graphics card, not a high-end gaming model. The announcement alone does not establish performance in specific games, software, resolutions or settings, so use independent testing for those decisions rather than inferring results from the product name or specification figures.
