Android Sage’s 2022 iPad Air 5 wallpaper post points to a collection of 15 images associated with the fifth-generation, M1-powered iPad Air. The files are shared through third-party mirrors, not an Apple wallpaper-download page. Start with the AR7 Google Drive folder; if it is unavailable, try the Google Photos mirror or the Telegram post. These links can change or stop working.
Download the iPad Air 5 wallpaper collection
The collection is described in Android Sage’s original post, which credits AR7 for the optimized wallpapers. The primary route is a Google Drive folder titled “iPad Air (M1) Wallpapers.” Google Photos and Telegram are alternate mirrors linked by that post.
- Google Drive: Open the AR7 wallpaper folder, select an image or archive, and use the download control. If you download a ZIP, extract it with the Files app on iPadOS, Files on macOS, or an archive utility on Windows or Android.
- Google Photos: Open the shared album, select an image, and use its download or save-image control. Check that you saved the image file rather than a browser preview.
- Telegram: Open the linked post, open its attached media or file, and download the original available image rather than saving a screenshot or thumbnail.
Cloud mirrors are third-party links and may be moved, deleted, rate-limited, or require an account. If one fails, try another. Download only image files or a ZIP containing images; do not install an executable or other software just to open a wallpaper.
What is included—and what “official” means here
Android Sage lists 15 wallpapers in versions associated with the iPad Air 5 finishes: Space Gray, Starlight, Pink, Purple, and Blue. That count and collection description come from the third-party post, not from Apple’s specifications. The available evidence does not establish a definitive file-by-file inventory, image dimensions, formats, or whether the folder contains duplicate sizes, phone crops, or previews. Check the downloaded files themselves before choosing one.

The images are best described as stock-style wallpapers associated with Apple’s 2022 iPad Air launch. Android Sage calls the collection official, but the distribution route is Android Sage, AR7, and third-party cloud or messaging services; this is not an Apple-hosted wallpaper library. Apple’s product specifications confirm the device’s finishes and display details, not the provenance of this downloadable pack.
Are the iPad Air 5 wallpapers really 4K?
“4K” describes an oversized source image, not the iPad Air 5’s native screen resolution. Apple specifies a 2360 × 1640-pixel display at 264 ppi for the fifth-generation iPad Air. Its ratio is about 1.44:1, while standard UHD 4K is 3840 × 2160 pixels, or 16:9. A 4K image can offer room to crop, but it will not necessarily fit without losing part of the composition. Choose a file with enough pixels and a composition that works for your screen. A landscape 16:9 image may lose content when fitted to the iPad, especially if its subject is near an edge. Images with open space around the subject tend to tolerate cropping better. Preview the image in both portrait and landscape orientations before applying it. Apple also notes that the display has rounded corners and that the viewable area is smaller than the rectangular measurement.
Set a downloaded wallpaper on iPad
Menu names and available shortcuts can vary by iPadOS version. The basic process is to save the image to Photos, select it in the wallpaper settings or image-sharing options, then check the crop before confirming.

- Save the image to Photos. If it is in a ZIP archive, open the archive in Files to extract it first.
- Open the iPad’s wallpaper settings, or open the image in Photos and use the Share menu if it offers a wallpaper command.
- Select the downloaded image and adjust its position in the preview.
- Check the crop in portrait and landscape, then confirm the wallpaper selection.
If the image is missing from Photos, check the Files app’s Downloads folder and save or share it from there. If it looks soft, confirm that you downloaded the full image rather than a preview or thumbnail.
Use the wallpapers on other devices
iPhone
Save the image to Photos, then open it and use Share if a wallpaper option is available, or choose it from the Lock Screen wallpaper customization interface. Check the Lock Screen and Home Screen crops separately; an iPad-shaped image may not suit a phone’s taller screen.

Android
Save the image, open the device’s wallpaper picker, and select it from your images. Use the preview to choose a crop or fit mode. Android screen sizes and ratios vary, so the iPad composition may need repositioning.
Windows and macOS
Save the file locally and select it through the desktop-background settings. Choose a fill, fit, or equivalent display mode that suits the monitor; filling the screen can crop the edges, while fitting the full image may leave unused space.

Troubleshoot downloads and cropping
- A link does not open: Try another mirror. Cloud folders and shared posts are not permanent archives.
- The file is only a preview: Use the platform’s explicit download control and inspect the saved file’s pixel dimensions in an image viewer or file information panel.
- A ZIP does not open: Locate it in Files or Downloads and use the device’s built-in extraction option or a trusted archive utility. You should not need an installer to view a standard JPG or PNG.
- The wallpaper is blurry: Check whether the source is a thumbnail or compressed preview, and download the original-size file if the host offers one.
- The crop cuts off the subject: Reposition the image or choose another composition. A 16:9 source and the iPad’s approximately 1.44:1 screen do not share the same shape.
- A site asks you to sign in: The mirror may require an account or its sharing settings may have changed. Try another listed mirror rather than downloading software from an unfamiliar prompt.
