Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteShort answer: you cannot make unauthorized Allegro.pl scraping compliant by slowing requests, rotating IP addresses, changing headers, or disguising a browser. Allegro’s current terms require the company’s consent to download or use its materials and prohibit scraping and other extraction for further use. For a permitted integration, apply for access to Allegro’s REST API, confirm that your intended downstream use is allowed, identify your client correctly, and follow the current endpoint rules.
This guide explains the compliant route, the 2026 API-key changes, implementation patterns, failure handling, and when a screenshot service such as ScreenshotNeo is appropriate for visual capture rather than marketplace-data extraction.
What “without getting blocked” means on Allegro in 2026
Allegro’s English Terms & Conditions, valid from September 1, 2026, state: “Downloading or using materials available on Allegro in any way (including data and other types of information) shall each time require the consent of the Company and shall not violate any provisions hereof and generally applicable provisions of law, and shall not violate any interests of the Company and Users.”
The same terms say: “It is prohibited to use bots and other IT or programming tools (including tools for data exploration, collection, or extraction), including tools that:” before listing prohibited categories. Allegro also reserves the ability to restrict access and use bot-blocking mechanisms. Those provisions establish a permission boundary, not a technical puzzle. A lower request rate, residential proxy, browser fingerprint change, CAPTCHA solver, or a different User-Agent does not create consent.

No official source gives a universal safe request rate or a guaranteed technique that prevents a block. Treat any page challenge, denial, or unusual response as a signal to stop the unauthorized workflow rather than an invitation to add anti-detection tooling.
Use Allegro’s authorized REST API for an approved integration
Allegro’s REST API rules describe the API as: “The REST API is a method of communication between external applications and Allegro resources authorized by the Company.” That makes it the appropriate access channel for an eligible external application, but API access is not blanket permission to copy, republish, or commercially reuse every piece of marketplace content.
Access requirements
- Have an Allegro account with full registration and apply for API access through Allegro’s developer process.
- Check whether the particular resource or endpoint has additional eligibility conditions.
- Read the current API rules for the exact data you want and the way you plan to display, store, combine, or redistribute it.
- Keep a written record of the business purpose, requested scopes, retention period, and downstream destinations so a change in use can be reviewed before deployment.
Downstream use still matters
The API solves the question of how an eligible application communicates with Allegro. It does not automatically authorize collecting materials for a competing service, unrestricted resale, or any other use restricted by the API rules. Obtain the appropriate approval before building a catalog, price monitor, comparison site, or internal workflow that processes Allegro data beyond the permissions granted to your application.
2026 lifecycle rules for newly registered API keys
An official Allegro notice dated August 12, 2026 describes changes effective September 1, 2026. The notice limits these changes to newly registered keys; older keys are outside the change described there.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →| Rule for a newly registered key | Operational effect |
|---|---|
| No use during the first 30 days | The key can be removed if it is not used in that initial period. |
| More than 90 days without use | Application access can be revoked after the stated inactivity period. |
| Default key count | One key is allowed by default; request additional keys individually when your architecture needs them. |
Record the registration date and schedule a legitimate, documented health check that uses an endpoint your application is authorized to call. Do not generate traffic merely to keep a key alive, and do not assume these lifecycle rules apply to keys registered before September 1, 2026.
Identify every request with a proper User-Agent
Allegro’s developer FAQ requires a custom User-Agent header on every API request and recommends keeping it consistent with your registered application name. The documented format is:
Rank #3
NazwaAplikacji/Wersja (+AdresURL_Dokumentacji)
Use your own application name, version, and a documentation URL that explains the client. This header identifies an authorized client; it is not an anti-blocking trick. Send it from your HTTP library, background worker, retry process, and webhook-related API client rather than adding it only in local tests.
A compliant implementation plan
- Define the use case. Write down which Allegro resources you need, why you need them, who will see the result, and how long you will retain it.
- Confirm consent and eligibility. Review the current Terms & Conditions and API rules, then apply with a fully registered account and satisfy any resource-specific requirements.
- Choose documented endpoints. Build against the endpoint and representation specified for your approved application. Do not substitute HTML pages for an API resource because the API response is inconvenient.
- Configure identity. Register the application details Allegro requests and send the required custom User-Agent on every request. Add authentication exactly as the current developer documentation instructs.
- Limit collection. Request only fields and records needed for the approved purpose. Store the permission or scope information beside your configuration so a later code change can be reviewed.
- Handle responses conservatively. Respect documented limits and retry instructions. Use bounded retries, honor a server-provided retry delay, and stop when the response indicates that access is denied or the application is outside its permissions.
- Monitor key activity. Track successful calls, authentication failures, permission errors, and the last legitimate use date. Alert an owner before a newly registered key reaches the 90-day inactivity condition.
- Re-check before expanding. A new country domain, data category, public display, or commercial use may require a new review or approval.
Minimal request examples without inventing an Allegro endpoint
Allegro’s endpoint paths, authentication flow, media types, and scopes can change. Put the exact URL and authentication method from your approved application’s current documentation into the examples below. The examples demonstrate the required client identity without suggesting that a page URL is an API endpoint.

curl --fail-with-body --request GET "$ALLEGRO_ENDPOINT"
--header "User-Agent: MyAllegroApp/1.0 (+https://docs.example.com/allegro-client)"
--header "Authorization: Bearer $ALLEGRO_ACCESS_TOKEN"
If your approved flow uses another authentication mechanism, replace the authorization header with the one Allegro specifies. Keep the User-Agent header on every call.
Python
import os
import requests
endpoint = os.environ["ALLEGRO_ENDPOINT"]
token = os.environ["ALLEGRO_ACCESS_TOKEN"]
headers = {
"User-Agent": "MyAllegroApp/1.0 (+https://docs.example.com/allegro-client)",
"Authorization": f"Bearer {token}",
}
response = requests.get(endpoint, headers=headers, timeout=30)
response.raise_for_status()
print(response.json())
Node.js
const endpoint = process.env.ALLEGRO_ENDPOINT;
const token = process.env.ALLEGRO_ACCESS_TOKEN;
const response = await fetch(endpoint, {
headers: {
'User-Agent': 'MyAllegroApp/1.0 (+https://docs.example.com/allegro-client)',
'Authorization': `Bearer ${token}`
}
});
if (!response.ok) {
throw new Error(`Allegro request failed: ${response.status} ${await response.text()}`);
}
console.log(await response.json());
These snippets intentionally do not guess an endpoint path or permission scope. Set ALLEGRO_ENDPOINT to the exact resource your approved application may call, and use the authentication instructions supplied for that application.
Unauthorized scraping versus an authorized API integration
| Question | Direct page scraping | Authorized REST API integration |
|---|---|---|
| Authorization | Conflicts with the published requirement for company consent when materials are downloaded or used. | Available through Allegro’s application and access process, subject to approval. |
| Permitted downstream use | Request-rate tricks do not change the prohibition on unauthorized collection or further use. | Still governed by the API rules, including restrictions on particular displays or competing services. |
| Identity and access | Hiding automation or cycling identities does not establish permission. | Use an eligible account, approved credentials, and the required custom User-Agent. |
| Operational maintenance | Unpredictable blocks, challenges, and policy exposure; no official safe threshold is promised. | Maintain key activity, scopes, documented retries, and compliance as the API rules evolve. |
Performance, reliability, and cost decisions
Performance
Measure the API calls your approved workflow actually needs instead of attempting to mirror every page view. Cache data only when your permission and the API rules allow it, request the smallest useful result, and process pagination incrementally. Do not treat concurrency as harmless: Allegro’s terms prohibit tools that create excessive system burden.
Reliability
Use timeouts, bounded retries, structured logs, and an explicit stop condition for authorization or policy errors. Retry transient failures only when the response and current API documentation indicate that retrying is appropriate. Preserve request IDs and timestamps for support, but never log access tokens or personal data unnecessarily.
Cost
The supplied Allegro materials do not establish a universal API price, quota, or request allowance. Check the current application terms and endpoint documentation for your account instead of budgeting from an assumed rate or limit.

| Symptom | Likely cause | Compliant fix |
|---|---|---|
| 401 or authentication failure | Expired, malformed, or incorrectly scoped credentials. | Follow the approved authentication flow, refresh credentials as documented, and verify the endpoint belongs to your application’s permissions. |
| 403 or access denied | The account, key, scope, or intended resource is not authorized. | Stop retries, review the API rules and application approval, and contact Allegro through its developer support route if needed. |
| Requests rejected because of client identity | Missing or inconsistent custom User-Agent. | Send the registered application name and version in the documented format on every request. |
| A newly created key disappears | It was not used during the first 30 days, under the September 1, 2026 rules for newly registered keys. | Review the key’s registration date and application status; do not create artificial traffic. |
| Access is revoked after a quiet period | More than 90 days passed without use of a newly registered key. | Reapply or restore access through Allegro’s current process and schedule legitimate maintenance checks. |
| HTML challenge, CAPTCHA, or blank page | You are using a page workflow rather than the authorized API, or access has been restricted. | Do not add a solver, proxy rotation, or fingerprint spoofing. Stop the page workflow and move to the approved API route. |
| Data cannot be shown in your product | Your planned display or reuse is outside the granted purpose or API rules. | Change the product design or obtain clarification and approval before collecting more data. |
Or skip the browser setup
If your actual requirement is a visual record of an Allegro page—not extraction, indexing, or reuse of marketplace data—use a screenshot service instead of automating a browser. ScreenshotNeo accepts a URL and returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF. It is not a substitute for Allegro API permission and does not authorize copying listings.
One request is enough (see the ScreenshotNeo documentation):
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://allegro.pl -o shot.webp
Before capture, ScreenshotNeo can accept cookie or consent banners and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each cleanup step can be disabled. Bot checks, blank pages, failed loads, timeouts, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing result. Its MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The Free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Create a free ScreenshotNeo account if a permitted visual capture is all you need.

The Bottom Line
There is no compliant “scrape without getting blocked” trick for Allegro.pl. Obtain consent, use the authorized REST API for an eligible application, identify every request with the required User-Agent, follow the current API rules, and stop when access or intended use is not authorized.
