These 13 publications cover different parts of ecommerce, from choosing a store platform to marketing, SEO, and print-on-demand. The list comes from Rob Binns’s Website Builder Expert article, updated January 5, 2023; it is a historical selection, not a verified directory of active blogs in 2026. Use the guide below to find sources relevant to your current task, then check each destination for recent posts and current advice.

What the 13 blogs cover

The original list spans store-building platforms, marketing and conversion, entrepreneurship, print-on-demand, and SEO. The descriptions below reflect how the 2023 article characterized the publications; they are not a fresh audit of their present-day content.

Zendesk Blog The extracted article text repeats the Moz description beneath this entry, so it does not establish a reliable Zendesk-specific topic description. Checking the publication directly rather than relying on the duplicated description.

How to choose which ecommerce blogs to follow

Start with the decision you need to make, not with a popularity list. A source useful for store setup may not be the best one for customer retention, and a timely post is not automatically well-supported.

  1. Match the topic to your job. For platform operations, start with platform-oriented sources; for growth, consider marketing, conversion, retention, or SEO coverage; for product fulfillment models, explore print-on-demand material.
  2. Check the date against the decision. Foundational explanations can remain useful, but platform interfaces, policies, and marketing practices can change. For a time-sensitive choice, look for a recent update and verify important details with the service or other primary material.
  3. Look for evidence and identifiable authors. The original article recommends data-backed arguments and visible bylines and biographies. Prefer posts that show where claims come from and who is responsible for the advice.
  4. Separate education from promotion. A blog run by a platform or service can offer relevant guidance, but assess whether a recommendation is supported and whether it also serves the publisher’s commercial interests.
  5. Choose a format you can use. Depending on the question, a step-by-step guide, case study, quick tip, podcast, or downloadable resource may be more helpful than a general overview.

What has changed since the original list

The list was updated on January 5, 2023, so its entries should not be treated as a current ranking or as proof that every publication remains active. In particular, the available description does not establish whether Oberlo’s blog or resources are currently available. The Zendesk entry also needs direct verification because the source text duplicates the Moz description rather than giving a distinct one.

A FeedSpot directory marked updated October 6, 2026, titled “100 Best eCommerce Blogs to Follow in 2026,” illustrates that later curated lists include other sources, such as Ecwid and Practical Ecommerce. Its selections and rankings belong to FeedSpot’s own curation; they do not independently verify the status or quality of the 13 entries above.

How to use this list

Use the table as a starting map of subjects, then visit a publication and assess its recent posts, evidence, authorship, and relevance to your particular store or business. Treat vendor blogs as one source among several when making a consequential platform or marketing decision.
