The article says the issue generally relates to configuration on the email domain’s server—not a verification step Hackster can bypass.
What Hackster checks when you sign up
Hackster’s signup verification checks whether an email address exists and is deliverable. The Help Center says a failure generally points to the email domain’s server configuration, but it does not identify a specific setting or provide a fix for individual domains. Read Hackster’s explanation.
How to troubleshoot the verification failure
- Get more diagnostic information. Hackster recommends checking the address with an email validation service. Its article names Verifalia and Verify-email.org as examples, while clarifying that Hackster does not use those particular services; it uses a similar service. Treat any result as diagnostic information, not a guaranteed fix.
- If you administer the email domain, investigate the result. If you have the necessary administrator permissions, the validation details may help you look into the mail-server configuration. Hackster does not specify which DNS or mail settings to change, so avoid making changes based only on a guess.
- If you do not administer the domain, contact your email provider. Share the validation result and ask what options are available for addressing the delivery or configuration problem.
- If those options do not work, try a free Gmail address. Hackster suggests creating one and using it to sign up. The article presents this as a fallback, not as the only email service it accepts.
Can Hackster bypass email verification?
No. The Hackster.io Help Center article, published September 23, 2022, says: “Unfortunately, we are unable to bypass this step for security reasons.” It does not promise that support can grant an exception.
What the Help Center does not establish
The article provides a general explanation rather than an investigation of a particular address. It does not list error codes, give retry instructions, identify a guaranteed working provider, or provide specific mail-server repair steps. For a domain-specific diagnosis, use the validation details or contact the email provider.
