Does Order of the Sinking Star run at 60 fps on Switch 2?
The reviewed official Switch 2 materials do not state a target frame rate, resolution, frame-rate behavior in demanding areas, graphics modes or measured performance. That means there is not enough evidence here to say whether the game runs at 60 fps on Switch 2.

Some PC information is easy to misread as a console promise. A July 10, 2026 update about a beta branch of the PC demo reported faster frame-rate optimizations and said the demo reached 60 fps on most Steam Deck levels. It also described a “Very Performance” setting and demo controls for VSync, frame-rate cap and antialiasing. For a meaningful Switch 2 performance assessment after release, look for testing that identifies the game build and reports resolution and frame rate in both handheld and TV play, including demanding sections and frame pacing. A single target figure, if one appears, may not describe performance across the whole game.
Can you change the controls?
The official Switch 2 game listing does not document the control layout, alternate control schemes or an in-game remapping menu. It is therefore not confirmed whether the game itself lets you remap buttons.

Switch 2 offers system-level button mapping for Joy-Con 2 controllers and the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller. This is a console setting, not a game feature, and its availability does not guarantee that every interaction will feel comfortable with a different mapping. Can you play it handheld?
