Staples explicitly lists a broad range of photo gifts, including mugs, ornaments, coasters, puzzles, and wall art. FedEx Office offers personalized items such as calendars, blankets, towels, cards, and wall art, but says it no longer offers everyday photo printing. Choose by the exact item you want, then compare the pickup or delivery estimate and total checkout price for your location.
How the gift selections compare
| Provider | Examples listed on its official pages | Useful distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Staples | Custom wrapping paper, photo and travel mugs, photo prints, mounted and border prints, posters, metal prints, calendars, coasters, mouse pads, ornaments, puzzles, and canvas prints. | Its listed assortment includes many small, everyday gift items as well as prints and wall decor. See the Staples photo-gifts catalog. |
| FedEx Office | Announcements, greeting and holiday cards, invitations, note cards, postcards, thank-you cards, envelopes, wax seals, acrylic signs, canvas prints, custom metal prints, photo posters, calendars, blankets, and towels. | Product options and fulfillment vary by item. FedEx Office says it no longer offers everyday photo printing, while still offering photo-based gifts and wall art. See its photo-gifts category. |
That distinction matters if you want ordinary photo prints rather than a finished gift: FedEx Office’s current category page states, “FedEx Office no longer offers everyday photo printing services.” The page still lists personalized products such as calendars, posters, canvas prints, blankets, and towels.
Which one fits the gift you have in mind?
Choose Staples when you want a small photo gift
Staples’ listed photo gifts include mugs, travel mugs, coasters, mouse pads, ornaments, and puzzles. Its catalog also includes wrapping paper and several print and wall-art formats. Check the specific product page for the available sizes, personalization choices, and current offer; catalog prices and promotions can change.
Consider FedEx Office for cards, textiles, or wall art
FedEx Office’s listed range includes cards and invitations alongside calendars, blankets, towels, canvas, metal prints, posters, and acrylic signs. If your idea is an everyday photo print, its stated service limitation means you should look at a different product or provider.

#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Pickup and delivery depend on the exact order
Do not treat either company’s timing language as a provider-wide speed guarantee. The examples below concern different products and are conditional on order details, store availability, quantity, and cutoff time.
- Staples photo mugs: Its guidance says the 15 oz white photo mug can qualify for same-day in-store pickup in quantities of one to five. Orders placed by noon are described as eligible, subject to store hours and order details. Larger quantities, 11 oz mugs, and black mugs are delivery only. Check the Staples mug page and the options for your order.
- FedEx Office canvas: The company says most canvas orders are ready for in-store pickup the same day or within 24 hours, depending on order details and store availability. Its canvas page says most orders placed before noon CST may be ready for same-day pickup, depending on quantity; shipping estimates appear at checkout. See the FedEx Office canvas page.
These are not like-for-like timing figures: the Staples example is for mugs, while the FedEx Office example is for canvas. For a deadline, select the exact product and quantity, enter your location, and rely on the fulfillment estimate shown for that order.

Compare canvas construction, not assumed print quality
The providers describe different materials and hanging details. Those specifications can help you choose the look and format you want, but they are not an independent comparison of print quality.
| Detail | Staples | FedEx Office |
|---|---|---|
| Canvas and finish | Gallery-wrapped semi-gloss canvas. | Matte material stretched over a 1.5-inch wooden frame. |
| Hanging construction | Closed back with pop-out hanging holes. | Sawtooth hanger. |
| Image preparation | Multiple sizes are listed; the cited page does not state a minimum image resolution. | Customers can upload images or use templates; the page recommends a high-quality image of at least 150 DPI. |
These details come from the companies’ Staples canvas listing and FedEx Office canvas page. Neither page provides a comparable test of color accuracy, measured image quality, or customer satisfaction, so the listed construction alone cannot establish which prints better.

A practical way to choose before ordering
- Find the exact item. Check each provider’s product page for the gift format and personalization options you want.
- Check the finished specifications. For wall art, compare size, surface, frame, and hanging method; for other gifts, verify the available variants and quantities.
- Enter your location and order details. Check the estimate for your specific store, item, quantity, and deadline. Treat same-day language as conditional until checkout confirms it.
- Compare the full checkout total. Include shipping and any current promotion. Listed prices and offers can change, so a catalog starting price is not a stable comparison.
There is no cited standardized price basket or independent quality test that settles the comparison across all products. The most reliable decision is the one based on the exact gift and checkout details you can actually order.
