What the Forza Horizon 6 charging dock is
8BitDo made this limited-edition dock in collaboration with Forza Horizon 6 to match the game’s accessory collection. Xbox describes it as officially licensed. Xbox product marketing staff Omar Smith and Tristan Munley said it was “designed in collaboration with Forza Horizon 6 to match the Limited Edition collection” in an April 20, 2026 Xbox Wire announcement.
The charging dock uses magnetic contacts, includes adjustable ambient lighting and a storage compartment, and is listed by 8BitDo as taking approximately three hours to charge. Its listed dimensions are 84 × 76 × 105 mm, and it weighs 190 g. The manufacturer also lists charging-overload protection; Xbox Wire describes protection against overcharging and overheating.
Compatibility and what comes in the box
8BitDo lists the Forza Horizon 6 edition as compatible with Xbox Series X|S controllers. The package includes a 1100mAh rechargeable NiMH battery pack, a battery door for an Xbox Series X|S controller, and a USB cable. A power adapter is not included. Check that the included battery door suits your controller before relying on the dock as a complete charging setup.
