8BitDo’s official product page currently says preorders for the Arcade Controller Pro start in October 2026, but it does not specify a day. Notebookcheck reported on October 6 that the controller’s earlier September preorder window had been missed. Neither source confirms a release date or international price.
What is the new preorder timeframe?
As of October 7, 2026, 8BitDo lists the Arcade Controller Pro as “Available for pre-order starts in October.” The wording sets a month-level window only; it is not a confirmed opening day or a shipping date. Check the official Arcade Controller Pro product page for any update.
Notebookcheck reported on October 6 that the previously expected September preorder window had passed and that the product page had changed to October. The earlier September timing is Notebookcheck’s report; the current month-level wording comes from 8BitDo.
What is known about price and release?
The current official product page and Notebookcheck’s October 6 update do not confirm a preorder day, release date, or international price. Notebookcheck’s suggested international price is an estimate, not an announced price. The available information also does not establish that preorders are open through a particular retailer.
