The roundups from WIRED and Forbes Vetted highlighted TVs ranging from entry-level sets to premium OLED and 8K models. Their model notes can still help you identify what to compare when shopping, but check the exact model, screen size, features, and live price before buying.
How to use this historical deal guide
The listed models and discounts reflect editorial roundups of Cyber Monday 2025 promotions, not a complete, independently verified catalog of 20 offers. Forbes Vetted published its roundup on December 1, 2025, and said it last verified deals that day. WIRED’s roundup was updated December 1. Prices, discounts, retailer links, and availability may have changed since then.
When you compare a current listing, match the full model number and screen size. A lower price for a smaller TV—or a different model year—does not establish that the same set is discounted. The cited roundups are editorial deal coverage, not controlled comparative tests; treat their product descriptions as attributed editorial assessments.
Which Cyber Monday 2025 TVs were highlighted?
These are representative models mentioned in the roundups, grouped by the kind of buyer or room they may suit. The lists are not a verified ranking of 20 current offers, and no price is implied unless explicitly given below.

OLED and QD-OLED for dark-scene contrast
WIRED included the LG C5 and G5 OLED, Samsung S95F and S90D QD-OLED, and Sony Bravia 8 II. Forbes Vetted also highlighted the LG OLED Evo C5, Sony Bravia 8 II, and LG OLED Z3. OLED-based models offer a different picture profile from LCD-based QLED and Mini LED sets; WIRED emphasizes OLED black levels in its model coverage. Choose among them by exact size, price, brightness needs, and features rather than treating the panel label alone as a complete picture-quality verdict.
Mini LED and QLED for brighter rooms
WIRED featured TCL QM6K, QM7K, and QM8K, plus Hisense U75QG and U8QG. Forbes Vetted included Hisense U7 Mini-LED, Sony Bravia 5 and Bravia 7, and LG QNED90T. WIRED describes Mini LED as a contrast and bright-room advantage in its coverage. Its notes say the QM6K has an anti-glare coating and handles direct sunlight, the QM8K is suited to bright rooms, and the U8QG is especially bright. These are editorial descriptions, not a guarantee for every room or viewing condition.

Design-focused and more affordable options
Forbes Vetted listed Samsung The Frame, Samsung The Frame Pro, Amazon Fire TV 2-Series and 4-Series, and Sony Bravia 3. WIRED’s roundup also included the budget-oriented Hisense U6QF, Panasonic W70 (2025), Roku Pro Series QLED TV (2025), and Vizio V4K55M-0801. A lower-priced or design-led set may be the better fit if it meets your room and use needs; compare its specific panel, operating system, and connectivity against similarly sized alternatives.

Forbes Vetted reported that some Black Friday deals overlapped with Cyber Monday promotions and that some models fell by roughly 5% further in its 2025 price tracking. That is an account of the offers it tracked, not a reliable rule for future sales.
How to choose between the models
Match display technology to the room
- OLED or QD-OLED: Consider these if black levels and dark-scene contrast are priorities. The roundup descriptions distinguish this picture profile from LCD-based options.
- Mini LED or QLED: Compare these when room brightness and contrast matter. Check the individual set’s glare handling and brightness descriptions instead of assuming every model performs alike.
- Viewing angle: WIRED flags off-axis viewing as a weakness in its Sony Bravia 7 note. If people regularly watch from the sides, check reviews or specifications for the exact model before choosing.
Check gaming connections and refresh rate
For gaming, screen size and discount are not enough. WIRED describes the Samsung S95F as offering four HDMI 2.1 ports and 165-Hz gaming, and the S90D as having 144-Hz refresh, variable refresh rate (VRR), and cloud gaming. Verify the exact size and model-year specifications, and make sure the ports and refresh capabilities match your console or PC.

Verify HDR formats and smart-TV features
WIRED notes that the Samsung S95F lacks Dolby Vision, while its coverage describes HDR-format support and streaming-platform features for other models. Smart-TV platforms also differ. Check the manufacturer’s specification page for the exact model and year if a particular HDR format, app, or streaming service matters to you; do not assume a feature carries across a product family.
Compare the same size and exact model
Before treating a discount as meaningful, compare the same model number and screen size across retailers. The historical S95F listings above show why size matters: the 65-inch and 55-inch prices were different offers. Also compare the current listing against the TV’s features and a consistent price history where available; a stated discount alone does not establish value.

Were Cyber Monday 2025 deals cheaper than Black Friday?
Not consistently enough to assume so. Forbes Vetted said some Black Friday promotions continued into Cyber Monday and that some models dropped by roughly 5% further in the price tracking described in its December 1, 2025 article. That observation applies to the offers it tracked, not every TV or a future sales event. Compare the exact model and size whenever both sale periods are available.
