In the Zoom Workplace desktop app for Mac, open Settings > Video & effects > Camera, turn on Touch up my appearance, then adjust the slider while watching the preview. Zoom says it remembers the preference for later meetings on that device.
Turn on Touch up my appearance in Zoom for Mac

Open the Zoom Workplace desktop app and sign in.

Click your profile picture, then choose Settings. In Zoom app versions 6.7.0 and higher, you can also open Settings using the gear icon in the navigation bar, according to Zoom’s settings overview.

In Settings, click Video & effects.

Select the Camera tab.

Turn on Touch up my appearance.

Move the slider to set the effect strength. Watch the video preview as you adjust it. Zoom says the preference is remembered for subsequent meetings on the same device. See Zoom’s instructions for Touch up my appearance.

What the setting changes
Zoom describes Touch up my appearance as a real-time effect that softens the picture and enhances digital appearance. The effect can soften appearance and minimize the visibility of imperfections. The preview reflects slider adjustments, so you can choose a level that looks right to you.

If Touch up my appearance is missing
Zoom says feature availability can depend on product access and permissions. Account owners or administrators may also control whether some video features are available. Confirm that you are signed in to the desktop app; if the setting is still absent, ask your Zoom account owner or administrator whether the feature is managed for your account.
For centrally managed Mac deployments, Zoom documents EnableFaceBeauty to enable the feature and SetFaceBeautyValue to set filter intensity. These are administrator or deployment controls, not steps for changing the setting in the regular app. Details are in Zoom’s macOS deployment settings reference.
