OBS ka bitrate aapke YouTube par bheje ja rahe live output ke codec, resolution aur frame rate ke mutabik set hota hai—not prerecorded file ke bitrate ke mutabik. H.264 1080p30 ke liye YouTube ka recommended starting point 14 Mbps hai; 1080p60 ke liye 17 Mbps. OBS mein Settings → Output ke streaming Video Bitrate field mein value darj karein, CBR chunein, 2-second keyframe interval set karein, aur apni upload capacity ka lagbhag 20% khaali rakhein. YouTube ki current encoder guidance ke mutabik, test stream chala kar Live Control Room mein stream health bhi check karein.
Prerecorded video ke liye kaunsa OBS bitrate rakhein?
Apne OBS ke outgoing live stream ke codec, resolution aur frame rate wali row chunein. YouTube ke 2026-current help guidance mein diye gaye H.264 minimum aur recommended bitrates yeh hain:

Yeh YouTube ke recommended engineering values hain, aapke connection par chalne ki guarantee nahi. YouTube alag AV1/H.265 recommendations bhi deta hai: 1080p30 ke liye 4 Mbps minimum aur 10 Mbps recommended; 1080p60 ke liye 4 Mbps minimum aur 12 Mbps recommended; 720p30 ya 720p60 ke liye 2 Mbps minimum aur 6 Mbps recommended. Apne outgoing encoder ka codec match karein; doosre resolutions aur current values ke liye YouTube ki live encoder table dekhein.

Prerecorded file ka bitrate target kyun nahi badalta
OBS prerecorded media ko source ke roop mein output mein chala sakta hai. YouTube ki live bitrate table, doosri taraf, YouTube ko bheje ja rahe output codec, resolution aur FPS par nirbhar hai. Isliye source file ka bitrate OBS ke outgoing stream bitrate ko apne aap set nahi karta. OBS mein bitrate set karne ke steps
- Output resolution aur FPS tay karein. OBS mein Settings → Video kholein. Output (Scaled) Resolution ko stream ke target resolution par aur Common FPS Value ko target frame rate par set karein. Yehi values bitrate-table ki row tay karti hain. OBS version ke hisaab se labels thode badal sakte hain. OBS Studio overview
- Streaming output settings kholein. Settings → Output par jaakar streaming ke Video Bitrate control ko dhoondein. Simple mode mein seedha bitrate control hota hai; Advanced mode mein streaming aur recording ke alag controls milte hain. Sirf streaming output ka bitrate badlein, jab tak recording settings bhi badalne ka irada na ho.
- Matching bitrate darj karein. Apne outgoing codec, resolution aur FPS ke liye YouTube ki table se recommended value chunein. H.264 1080p30 par 14 Mbps ke liye 14000 Kbps, aur 1080p60 par 17 Mbps ke liye 17000 Kbps darj karein. OBS mein 1 Mbps = 1,000 Kbps.
- Rate control aur keyframes set karein. Rate control ko CBR rakhein aur keyframe interval 2 seconds set karein. YouTube 2-second keyframe frequency recommend karta hai aur 4 seconds se zyada interval na rakhne ko kehta hai. YouTube encoder guidance
- Upload capacity naap kar headroom rakhein. Speed test mein upload result dekhein—download speed nahi. YouTube kehta hai total outgoing bitrate available upload bandwidth se zyada nahi hona chahiye, aur lagbhag 20% headroom chhodne ki salah deta hai. 14 Mbps video bitrate ke liye, 20% headroom bachane ka hisaab lagbhag 17.5 Mbps available upload capacity hai; yeh arithmetic example hai, alag se YouTube ka published threshold nahi. - Test stream chalayein. YouTube Live Control Room mein private ya unlisted test shuru karein, OBS se wahi prerecorded content play karein jo aap stream karne wale hain, phir preview aur stream health/messages dekhein. Test mein actual audio aur movement shamil hon; static title card encoding ya motion ki dikkat nahi dikhata. YouTube encoder guidance
- Zaroorat par quality ya bitrate ghata kar phir test karein. Agar upload link recommended bitrate ko sthir roop se nahi sambhalta, bitrate kam karein aur/ya resolution ya FPS ghatayein. Dropped frames ya stream-health warning aaye to pehle sustainable upload ke andar setting rakhein; recommendation ko match karne ke liye unstable connection par zor na dein.
Bitrate chunne mein kaun se trade-offs maayne rakhte hain?
- Codec: H.264, AV1 aur H.265 ke recommended numbers ek jaise nahi. YouTube table mein apne outgoing ingestion codec ka column dekhein.
- Resolution aur FPS: Zyada resolution ya frame rate aam taur par zyada bitrate maangta hai. 1080p60 ka H.264 recommended value 1080p30 se zyada hai.
- Upload ki stability: Speed test ek samay ka result hai; available capacity mein doosre network users aur activity bhi asar daal sakte hain. Headroom rakhein aur stream test karein.
- Video ki movement aur detail: Test mein prerecorded clip ka asli motion aur sound rakhein. YouTube live stream ko alag viewer devices aur network conditions ke liye transcode karta hai, isliye aapka encoder bitrate har viewer ko wahi delivered bitrate nahi batata. YouTube encoder guidance
Stream key, preview aur playback latency
YouTube ka stream key encoder ko channel tak feed bhejne deta hai. Ise password ki tarah private rakhein. Scheduled stream aur Live Control Room preview workflow ka istemal karke public hone se pehle output dekh sakte hain. Agar prerecorded video mein real-time audience interaction ki zaroorat nahi, to low latency ke bajay stable playback ko tarjeeh dena aksar zyada upyogi hai; YouTube ke mutabik lower latency par playback buffering badh sakti hai.
