If a scheduled YouTube Live does not reflect a playlist change, first check the two items separately: the stream’s settings in YouTube Studio and the playlist’s membership. YouTube documents how to edit each, but its help pages do not say that changing a playlist automatically updates a scheduled stream’s display or specify how long that should take. The available guidance also does not describe a different update rule for India.
Check that you opened the right scheduled stream
- In YouTube Studio, select Content, then Live.
- Find the stream under Upcoming. YouTube groups live content as Live Now, Upcoming, or Live Replay, so confirm you are not editing a similarly named past or active stream.
- Open Go Live to reach Live Control Room, select Manage, and choose the scheduled stream.
YouTube’s live-stream settings guidance describes editing a scheduled stream’s settings from its stream settings page or while scheduling it. Review the stream’s own details and make any needed changes there; a playlist edit is a separate action.
Verify the playlist separately
- Open the playlist you intended to change.
- Confirm it is the correct playlist and that the intended video is included.
- Return to the scheduled stream and check the viewer-facing page or location where you noticed the mismatch.
YouTube’s playlist help covers playlist management, but does not explain synchronization between playlist membership and a scheduled live stream. Reopen the relevant Studio views after saving any edits, then check the viewer-facing location again. This is a practical check, not a published refresh procedure or timing guarantee.

YouTube’s Android mobile-live instructions include India and explain how to select a scheduled mobile stream through Create > Live > Calendar > Select your live stream. The general Live Control Room guidance does not identify an India-specific exception for playlist updates. The available documentation cannot establish whether a particular account, app version, channel setting, or regional rollout is causing an individual mismatch.

For scheduled streams, YouTube notes: “When you schedule your stream for later, it may show up in your subscribers feed as upcoming.” That describes upcoming visibility, not automatic playlist-change propagation.
If an edit control is not responding on Android
A separate Android issue prevented some users from editing scheduled mobile streams. On September 10, 2026, TeamYouTube said that issue was fixed. That notice concerns an unresponsive edit control; it does not say playlist changes failing to appear were fixed. If the edit button itself is stuck, update the YouTube app and check whether your symptom matches the reported issue.

When the mismatch persists
Send feedback through YouTube or contact YouTube support. Include the scheduled stream URL or ID, playlist URL, the exact change you made and when, the steps you took, and your device and YouTube app or browser version. This information helps distinguish a stream-settings issue from a playlist-management issue.
Keep a recurring YouTube stream running from the cloud
If your goal is to keep uploaded videos playing as a 24/7 YouTube stream, rather than fix a playlist display mismatch in Studio, StreamNeo is a separate cloud option. It plays uploaded videos, not a camera feed; it does not change YouTube’s playlist-sync behavior.
