The Redmi Note 15 5G and the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G both list 45 W wired charging, but their published specifications diverge elsewhere. TECNO’s official page lists the larger battery (8,000 mAh) and the faster display (144 Hz). The Redmi Note 15 5G review lists the higher-resolution main camera (108 MP). Neither spec sheet proves which phone performs better in daily use. We also could not confirm a current TECNO price in the same market as the Xiaomi listing, so this article does not state a numeric price gap.

Display: refresh rate and construction
TECNO lists a curved AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The Redmi Note 15 5G review lists a 120 Hz AMOLED display. On paper, the TECNO panel refreshes faster, and it is the only one described as curved. The Redmi sources did not state whether its panel is curved or flat, so do not assume either way.
A higher maximum refresh rate only changes what you see when the software and the app use it. Check whether a phone’s display settings let you lock the rate or switch between modes, and whether that choice affects battery use.

Battery and charging: what the numbers do and do not show
TECNO lists an 8,000 mAh battery, and the Redmi Note 15 5G review lists 5,520 mAh. Both phones list 45 W wired charging. The TECNO battery is roughly 45% larger by capacity, which on paper suggests more room for heavy use.
These are manufacturer and review capacity figures, not measured endurance. Screen-on time depends on the display, software, network signal, and workload. This article does not convert either battery into hours of use, and it does not show charging times, because the sources did not establish them.

Chipset: Dimensity 7100 5G vs Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
TECNO’s official page names the Dimensity 7100 5G. The Redmi Note 15 5G review names the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. These are different mid-range platforms, but the published specifications do not show which one is faster in games, multitasking, or thermal behaviour. Treat any claimed performance winner as unproven until it comes from comparable benchmark results.
Cameras: why megapixels do not settle it
The Redmi Note 15 5G has the larger headline number on the main sensor: 108 MP against TECNO’s 50 MP. The Android Central review also lists an 8 MP ultrawide, against TECNO’s 2 MP. TECNO lists a 13 MP front camera, and the Redmi review lists 20 MP.

Sensor resolution is one input. Pixel size, lens quality, image processing, and camera modes all affect output, and the published numbers do not capture them. Judge the cameras by sample photos taken under the same conditions, not by megapixel count.

Redmi Note 15 5G price in India
The Mi India Store product page showed ₹28,999 for the Redmi Note 15 5G 8 GB/128 GB when accessed on 4 October 2026. The same page displayed other variants and offer prices. This is a volatile retail listing in one market, not a manufacturer list price, and it is not an Amazon price. Check the Mi India Store phone listing for the current figure.

TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G price
We did not confirm a current TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G price in India or in any other market that matches the Xiaomi listing. Without a same-country, same-date, same-memory price, a numeric difference would be a guess, so none is given here.
What a fair price comparison needs
- The same country and the same date. Retail prices move, and an India listing from one day is not comparable to a price from another market.
- The same memory and storage configuration. Compare 8 GB/128 GB with 8 GB/128 GB.
- The same warranty terms and seller type, whether official store, authorised retailer, or marketplace.
- Any launch offers or bank discounts, noted separately from the base price.
Which one is better?
Neither phone wins on every published specification. The spec sheets favour the TECNO POVA Curve 2 5G on battery capacity and maximum refresh rate. They favour the Redmi Note 15 5G on main camera resolution and on the ultrawide sensor. Chipset and real-world performance remain unresolved, and the price gap is not established.

- Check the current price and availability of each phone from a seller in your market. Retail prices change, so do not rely on a price from this article.
- Both phones list 45 W charging over USB-C. Whether a charger is in the box was not established for either phone, so check the listing before buying a separate 45 W charger.
- Cases and screen protectors must match the exact model and variant. Check fit before ordering.
