No. BetaNews’s “free for BetaNews readers” offer for Writing AI Prompts For Dummies was a time-limited promotion in June 2024, and the fulfillment page now says it can no longer fulfill requests. The book remains available as a Wiley/For Dummies title, but the expired ebook offer is not a current way to get it free.
What happened to the free BetaNews offer?
BetaNews published the promotion on June 13, 2024, describing Writing AI Prompts For Dummies as “$15.00 Value” and free for a limited time. The stated expiration date was June 25, 2024. TradePub’s fulfillment page now says requests for this offer can no longer be fulfilled, so readers should not submit their details expecting to receive the promotional ebook.

Published by For Dummies/Wiley in 2024, the book is by Stephanie Diamond and Jeffrey Allan. For Dummies describes it as a guide to creating and refining prompts for generative AI across text, images, video, and music.
