Luke Humphries said the mark on his forehead began as a rash after he filmed the British TV show Bullseye. He suspected makeup or creams used during filming had caused an allergic reaction, but said he did not know for sure and had not seen a doctor. He also said he felt well.
What did Luke Humphries say caused the mark?
After his opening match at the 2026 World Grand Prix in Leicester, Humphries said he filmed Bullseye on Tuesday and woke the next day with a large rash on the side of his head. He said it worsened and scabbed over. Sky Sports reported his account on 30 September 2026.
Humphries thought makeup or creams applied for filming might have triggered an allergic reaction. That was his suspicion, not a medical diagnosis: he said he had not seen a doctor and did not know the cause for certain. The contemporary reports describe a rash or scab, so “mark” is more accurate than calling it a confirmed lasting scar.
When did it happen?
In his account, filming took place on Tuesday, the rash appeared on Wednesday, and the mark was visible during the World Grand Prix. The sequence explains why he suspected something used during filming, but timing alone does not prove that the cosmetics caused it.
