A 24/7 schedule is not listed by YouTube as a standalone reason to disable Super Chat. The cause is more likely to be your channel’s eligibility or location, the stream’s settings, or a policy restriction. Check the channel in YouTube Studio first, then inspect the specific livestream; the exact reason depends on your account and stream.
1. Check whether your channel is eligible for Supers
Super Chat and Super Stickers are fan-funding features, not automatic benefits of running a livestream. YouTube requires a channel to meet the applicable fan-funding requirements, be in a supported location, and accept and comply with the relevant terms and policies, including the Commerce Product Module.
- Open YouTube Studio.
- Go to Earn and look for the Supers tab or card.
- If Supers are not available there, review the eligibility information and any prompts or notices shown for your channel. Confirm that your channel’s location is supported and that the applicable terms have been accepted.
YouTube’s published eligibility guidance does not identify a 24/7 schedule itself as a disqualifier. Do not assume the stream’s length is the problem if the channel is otherwise eligible.

2. Inspect the individual livestream
A channel can be eligible while Super Chat is unavailable on one particular stream. Check that stream’s visibility, audience designation, restrictions, and chat settings in Studio.

- Visibility: Super Chat and Super Stickers are unavailable on unlisted and private videos. Check whether the livestream is public if you want viewers to use Supers.
- Age restriction: They are unavailable on age-restricted videos.
- Audience: They are unavailable on videos set as made for kids. A made-for-kids setting also turns off live chat and Super Chat.
- Live chat and comments: They are unavailable when live chat or comments are turned off. YouTube says Supers are automatically available on eligible live streams and Premieres where live chat is turned on.
- YouTube Giving: They are unavailable on YouTube Giving fundraiser videos.
Review the stream’s audience and visibility settings and confirm that live chat is enabled. Do not change a made-for-kids designation merely to enable monetization: set the audience accurately for the content.
3. Check whether a fundraiser is using live chat donations
If the livestream has Live Chat Donations enabled, Super Chat and Super Stickers are turned off to avoid confusion between the features. Check whether a fundraiser is attached to the stream before treating the missing Supers option as an error.

4. Review channel notices and live-stream restrictions
Community Guidelines strikes, a stream takedown, or a copyright match or strike can affect live-stream access. Separately, YouTube’s live-streaming guidance says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days to go live. That is a live-streaming access requirement, not a complete list of Super Chat eligibility rules.

- Look in YouTube Studio for policy, copyright, monetization, or live-stream notices tied to the channel or the specific stream.
- If YouTube has restricted or removed the stream, resolve or appeal the notice through the process shown in Studio rather than repeatedly restarting the broadcast.
- If the stream is live but Supers are missing, still check fan-funding eligibility and stream settings; live access alone does not establish Super Chat eligibility.
5. Use the symptom to narrow the cause

Does keeping the stream live 24/7 disable Super Chat?
YouTube’s published Super Chat eligibility guidance does not name a 24/7 schedule as a standalone reason for disabling the feature. Duration alone therefore is not an established explanation. Channel eligibility and each stream’s settings still apply, and a particular channel’s Studio notices are needed to identify its actual cause.

Super Chat is a fan-funding feature; do not describe it as a donation mechanism. YouTube also notes that creators remain responsible for applicable laws.
