A 24/7 schedule does not guarantee 24/7 ad delivery. YouTube says ad slots are not guaranteed to serve ads, even when a channel is monetized and monetization is enabled. Its published guidance does not identify Hindi language or continuous streaming, by themselves, as reasons for limited ads. Check the stream’s eligibility, mid-roll settings, format, and any suitability notice before attributing the issue to its language or duration.
What “limited ads” can mean on a live stream
Monetization settings make a stream eligible to trigger ads; they do not ensure that an ad will fill every opportunity. YouTube’s live-stream monetization guidance states: “Ad slots are not guaranteed to serve ads.” Ad delivery can differ by slot and viewer. A viewer may receive no ad and continue watching, while a viewer who receives a mid-roll rejoins after the ad ends or is skipped.
That distinction matters on a continuous channel: a stream can remain live while individual ad opportunities go unfilled. YouTube’s cited guidance does not establish that Hindi-language content or a 24/7 schedule alone causes limited ads. The sources explain general platform behavior, not the account-specific reason for a particular stream’s status; use the notices and settings in YouTube Studio to diagnose that.

Confirm channel and stream monetization
Check that the channel is eligible for monetization and monetization is enabled for the live stream. YouTube says Watch Page ad and YouTube Premium revenue from live streams requires acceptance of the Watch Page Monetization Module. Check the mid-roll mode
YouTube offers automatic, scheduled, and manual mid-roll delivery. In automatic mode, YouTube’s systems look for natural breakpoints. Scheduled mode lets you choose intervals of 6, 12, 18, 24, or 30 minutes; those are scheduling settings, not guarantees that ads will fill each interval. In manual mode, you must insert breaks—if you insert none, no mid-rolls will be served. Details are in Manage mid-roll ad breaks in long videos and Monetize your live stream.

Check whether the stream is horizontal or vertical
YouTube’s live-format comparison lists live pre-roll and mid-roll ads for horizontal live streams, and no live pre-roll or mid-roll ads for vertical live feeds. If the feed is vertical, its format may explain why those live ad types are unavailable. Consult YouTube’s Get started with live streaming guidance.

Look for an earnings, suitability, or age-restriction notice
Advertiser-unfriendly content can receive limited or no ads; age restriction can make a video ineligible for monetization; and advertisers may avoid content they consider misaligned with their brands. For scheduled streams, YouTube says its systems inspect the title, description, thumbnail, and tags before the stream goes live. Investigate channel-level policy only when it fits the facts
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams as well as other video formats. On July 15, 2025, YouTube renamed “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content” and said the reused-content policy had not changed. This may be relevant if a stream is repetitive or reuses content, but YouTube’s cited policy does not say that broadcasting 24/7 automatically violates monetization rules. Choose a mid-roll mode that fits the stream

YouTube reports an “Over 20% average uplift in instream ad revenue per hour” for channels that turned on live automatic mid-roll ads compared with channels that did not. That was a group-level comparison averaged across 207 countries in January 2024, not a forecast for an individual channel or a promise that a particular slot will fill. The statistic appears in YouTube’s Monetize your live stream guidance.

Use YouTube’s appeal route when Studio shows limited or no earnings and you believe the content is suitable for most advertisers. Review the advertiser-friendly guidelines, then submit an appeal for expert review using Submit an appeal for videos with “Limited ad earnings” or “No ad earnings”. YouTube says decisions can take up to 24 hours in some cases. An appeal addresses the specific suitability decision; it does not guarantee that ads will fill every slot afterward.

Why Hindi or the 24/7 schedule may not be the answer
The official pages cited here describe ad eligibility, format, suitability, and delivery, but do not identify Hindi as a cause of limited ads or continuous broadcasting as an automatic policy violation. If there is no notice that names a restriction, do not infer one from language or duration alone. The stream’s Studio status and settings are the relevant places to look for account-specific evidence.
Keeping a stream online is separate from ad delivery
Stream continuity and ad fill are different problems: a service that keeps uploaded video playing does not determine whether YouTube serves ads or changes a monetization decision.
